It’s great to see my childhood heroes in good shape, performing together, this brings back so many good memories. All the best to you guys!
So relevant, such amazing Lyrics and SO well played - Sean Freeman FTW
I wish that they'd play this one on the current tour while Mark still has his Jaydee on tour.
One of Phil Gould's best written songs.
Loved this live version and so appropriate for now unfortunately. Amazingly played as always .
This cut ought to be the national cry to reopen the economy and getting things going again, hell you gotta wait and sit around for unemployment and stimulus!!! Now if ain't that some bullshitt what is? True dat one thing about level 42 they're right we are in danger!!! Absolutely brilliant cut, if you really stop and think about it Mark & boon might've thought bout this 30 some years ago, wow look at us now!!! can't do sh__!!! until they figure out an upper hand in this thing. One of my favorite cuts by them, they were so right!!!
@@lawrenceofarabia5299 Let's not forget Phil who wrote the Lyrics

Have you peeped 'Aquarius' david duchovny, sam the detective during that. Charles manson thing fictional? Sam and his partner brian?

Well you're on point, it's real hip to be a high level afficondo as the rest of us who still hear the triumphant sound of level 42 today.
This is brilliant!
Music on another Level!!!!!! SUPERB!
"Old men with their protocol, Lead us off to war"
Very relevant now...
Mark king is alien🤘🤘
Actual as ever 2021 ❤️😇🙏
Absolutely marvelous
Fuck. Me. Amazing.
Nice sax solo Mr Freeman really flows with the music, love the percussion wonderful touch. Nice rendition lads
Live In Holland 2009 and now this one. The sound mixing is so empty. Somehow the live thing is missing especially from the bass sound because of the line in recording. So far the reference is still the Apollo 2003. The sound mix on that live record is brilliant.
ベースのチョッパーが最高にカッコいい!このバンドで一番好きな曲。Best Funk Music!!!
Absolutely spot on lads👍
OMG! so brilliant & rewarding!💖🎈💞👍 Also with reference to original recording - bringing it and excellent groove + its important lyrics out in such vital live performance! Simply outstanding!🎈🌟 Loving thanks!💖
if Only ya had Allan Holdsworth still!!!! if Only we all did!
Play it loud
Nothin else works
Mark King Bass connection 🔥 dari #Indonesia ngumpul sini🎉
Underrated bassist...pasti nonton waktu konser di tennis indoor Senayan, sayang udh ga ada Mike lindup wkt itu
I wish they would play this more often when out on tour & playing Live...
As much as i love it when they play " Love Games " " The Sun Goes Down (Living It Up) along with " Hot Water " i wish Level 42 would drop those song's & play older song's or other songs that are rarely played...
Its not that i not love them but the fact is the Setlists have become too predictable & it's more often than not the song's they Play Live have been played too much & its not as if they don't have enough song's recorded from all their previous albums...
I know the fan's (like me) couldn't get enough of specific song's & a great example is " Love Games " which has reached a cult status amoung the fan's but it would be refreshing to hear song's that haven't been played Live over the 4 decades they have been touring...
A prime example is the song " The Machine Stops " as i havent heard that Live for decades but some more fortunate fans got to hear & its on TH-cam & even Mark King says before they start playing it that the next song which calls out as " The Machine Stops " & that even Mark admits they havent played that song in quite a long time...
Out of all the innumerable about of solo acts & band's that flourished until the year 2000 came it , Level 42 were the onky band that i joined their Fan Club & with great respect to all the of musicians that have played with them & we would see various different musicians playing for Level 42 for many years & then they eventually left & it took quite a few years to get Mike Lindup back on board but without sounding too harsh but when it comes to Setlists its a case of " Familiarity Breeds Contempt "
It was only during their most recent tour " From Eternity To Hear " that Mark went back to playing the JD Supernatural Series I Bass Guitars & singing some older song , as the tour title kind of gives away what they were going to play & it would see them doing a few songs from their first few albums/then song's at the midpoint of their career & finally playing more newer song's from their later & the last of their recorded albums...
Level 42 have always been amazing to see Live & along with Sean Freeman on Saxophone , we also saw the addition of 3 other horn players & if they could set up drums for percussion to be added then this would see even more song's from the past being played more , as there was an older song , which ii can remember its name , but seeing Mark/Mike & Nathan playing percussion over a period of time that they would play percussion on late within that song & it sounded amazing while all 3 played percussion but again this was 1 Live Gig that i saw them do this & it wasn't as if it was an ancient song but 1 song that had percussion within the song's & though i cant remember his name , but when they toured they had 1 man playing percussion but this was way back to the album " True Colours " which had been released as their latest album & the overall spund along with a percussion player also adding percussion to song's that needed it but it didnt take long for the percussion played too part ways & he eventually left & this saw their percussion parts & when it comes to playing Live i miss that they don't use percussion like they used to & , again , there's a song that that was recorded Live using percussion & its on TH-cam but i cant remember what that song was but it sounded amazing when Mark/Mike & Nathan stopped playing their instruments & they went to play percussion near the end of a song & they time it perfectly to still play percussion until the Live Version , eventually , finished...
.....
👏👏👏

Just like the lyrics to 'World Machine, 'Dance On Heavy Weather' and 'Machine Stops'

Actually, I revise my previous note: this record is not as bad as I read below. Just a slightly different, than I expected after the original, more crispy, sharper, original Status bass ound and the whole sound mix of the 1984 era. However, this new revision is quite good, just I had to re-hear agian and again.
A song for the bankers and telecom (surveillance/information) moguls.
