ABBA will always be alive and well and will keep singing until this world ends....in all of our hearts.
It breaks my heart to hear that ABBA is no more. I always have to remind myself that each member of ABBA is in their 70”s and/or near 80 and that breaks my heart just to say. I never thought I would see them grow old. I feel privileged to have follow them ever since they first started out as a group til now. They have always filld me up with so much love and joy every time I see they on television or hear them on the radio. Bjorn and Frida always said .....”never say never” but again we need to realize that they have already given us so so so much of themselves and now it’s time to let them officially RETIRE. It’s heart breaking for me to say that, but they deserve it❤. Agnetha, Byron, Benny, and Frida will always still be a big part of my life now as they were when I a little kid. I have pictures of them and most of their song, so they will never be gone❤ I miss them dearly when they took their break and then my love was rekindled with the Voyage Concert and i will miss them when the official retirement sets in. Agnetha, Bjorn,Benny, and Frida.... I love you all with all my heart and i wish you the best of health,happiness,and joy one can imagine/ have❤😚😘 and many hugs.
ABBA is Forever. Their timeless sound will be with us for a very long time! They have given me so much joy with their music.
I saw an ABBA Tribute. My brain kept fighting between the past and reality. The Tibute group was so phenomenal, it gave the feeling i was witnessing the true ABBA.
Also, i am a registered nurse who cared for those Alzheimer's and Dementia. I would put on ABBA music and suddenly elders would vome out of their rooms, smiles, laughter and dancing followed.....amazing! A sheer tribute to ABBA as i never saw this reaction to other music elders listened to.
Dear BB, thanks to you and your information, I now have tickets to ABBA Voyage for the 3pm and 8pm concerts on April 6. Even if ABBA members do not attend, I am so pleased to know that I will be in London on this special occasion. It is a long journey from Australia, but worth every cent! Thank you, BB, for keeping me in the loop. Come April 6, I will have seen ABBA Voyage 9 times. I always get there early to be front and centre of stage. During ABBA Voyage concerts, I create my most joyful moments and memories. How lucky am I to be able to travel from half a world away to see my beloved perform. When I am there, it is as though I am really seeing them. The ABBA Voyage concert is the greatest gift ABBA could ever have given me. I saw them in Melbourne in 1977, but the Voyage concert is even better than seeing them in 1977. I will love ABBA until my dying day and will have their songs played at my funeral. They are the most influential group who captured my heart. I am a lucky 60 year old! Thank you, BB. Thank you, ABBA. Sending my best wishes from Melbourne Australia.
I so glad I saw ABBA LIVE IN CONCERT at Wembley Arena London 10th November 1979 then met all 4 back stage where we chatted and drank for almost 2hrs
If I lived in London I think I'd have seen it 9 times at least, so far just 4 times for me. Live in US.

I’m sure there will be something more as Agnetha said you never know with ABBA . But even if there isn’t we could have never dreamed of a new album the band all together for the launch of their amazing live show . They are nearing their 80s and we have to be grateful they have done what they have already.

Let's wait and see, ABBA 50th anniversary and Voyage concert, I think we will see them together this year. As for more music, so happy with what we have and the comeback after 40th years was a dream come true for us all.

Bjorn must be asked the same questions every single day - his patience is astonishing. We can't blame him if he wants to mix it up now and then. ABBA as a studio entity is probably finished - that doesn't mean there may not be more music to come.

Thanks for the extensive information. I think we can still hope for some reissues to come. Every album is worthy of a box set, with b sides, videos, rare/unreleased tracks and a book(let). We also see that iconic bands in pop history, combine this with a blu ray that offers a 5.1/Atmos mix, so that we are able to listen to all those classic albums in a new way. I'm convinced that most of us fans are willing to invest in those releases, even though they will be more expensive than a more regular reissue. Anyway, I expect this year to be a world wide celebration of the joy Abba brings in so many lives. ~Marjet
ABBA will always be ABBA. They have always been ahead of their time. From Waterloo to the Avatars. They have always been something different & special that stood out from the rest. Whilst each member has gone on & proved their own success, in their own right. The four of them together is when the magic happens. They will always be ABBA, even when they are all long gone from this earth. Their music lives on through the decades & the generations.💖

Ich glaube, dass das noch nicht das letzte Album war. Als Björn und Benny bei Wetten dass... am 6.11.2021sagten, "that's it", empörte sich Frida mit den Worten: "Wie könnt ihr sowas behaupten? Glaubt ja nicht, dass das schon war". Tatsächlich tauchte im Internet März(?) 2023 die Nachricht auf, ABBA würde sich im Studio vom Benny treffen. Es gab eine Mitteilung, dass mindestens 8 neue Lieder geplant seien. Nach ein paar Tagen, wurde diese Nachricht jedoch wieder gelöscht. Benny sagte einmal: "Wir sind müde. Wir müssen uns nicht mehr beweisen." Es sieht jedoch nach Ablenkung aus. ABBA hat noch einiges vor. Es kann kein Zufall sein, dass der Eurovision Song Contest heuer ausgerechnet in Schweden stattfindet. Zu 50 Jahre ABBA, gehört auch ein 10. Album. Liedmaterial von früher haben sie genug. Und wenn, dann können sie immernoch zwei oder drei neue Lieder schreiben. Und solange nicht alle Mitglieder ihr Ende bekannt geben, dürfen wir uns hoffentlich auf manch kleine Überraschung freuen.
For the 50th anniversary of Waterloo I would love to see an album release of all ABBA’s disco hits extended and remixed.

I would love an audio release of the Voyage concert. I've been to the show 4 times now and the band's interpretation of the songs is very refreshing! Bobbie work your magic and see if you can get that done!

Well, what did you expect him to say? That they are rehearsing for a new album and tour? Come on... you know how these people work. It's all final until it isn't final. We have heard repeatedly from Benny and Bjorn over the decades that ABBA was never getting back together, yet, we all know how that played out. If there are additional ABBA projects in the works (or the idea stage), he would still deny that anything was happening.
I would rather an honest answer, whether it's a yes or a no or a can't say. I respect honestly. But perhaps I'm just a little weird?
100 percent. They far to comfy with the cash money rolling in. Voyage is an eternal income for sure, but soon as another project(cheque) is waived in front of them - they will be all in.
@@philharvey9445 I don't think so. They have, surely, more money than they can ever spend, so I don't think the prospect of more would sway them; so, if they decide to do something else (and I'm happy if they do - or if they don't), it's because they want to.

ABBA is no more ...... pretty much the feelings for 40 years, then suddenly Voyage came along. I wouldn't count anything out, though I have to admit, the window of time is slowly closing. At some point, you just can't do it anymore.

ABBA and we are got old with time..those days were very beautiful..time is passed and toook our freshness but abba music is still fresh and i listen those beutifulmelodes every day very often..oh bjorn and his high heel boots on stage..thank you abba for making us happy
Besides Bjorn's denial of there being anything left that hasn't been released, what his Instagram posting reveals is that he is a very sentimental and nostalgic man, always looking back and reliving the best times of his life!
Maybe he is onset Dementia, he did say he believes he was suffering from it.

Bjorn smiled in this video after he said ABBA is no more like he had smiled in interviews before Voyage , hiding new songs , denying there is nothing else but two songs . Bjorn is a teaser and doesn’t want to spoil any surprises . He told me in 1996 in Minnesota THERE IS NOTHING ELSE TO BE RELEASED , too . I don’t believe him . I will patiently wait for more ABBA old stuff !

I wish Bjorn and Benny would go the route of, "maybe someday we'll do something again," but alas it's always a stern "ABBA are done!" I'm grateful for the ABBATAR Voyage show and final album though. It was a proper thank u and goodbye to the fans from one of the world's greatest bands. ❤
I’d love an album of new songs written by Agnetha & sumg by her. I wouldn’t say no to another ABBA album either. But at some point everything ends. With Voyage they have provided their fans old & new with a mechanism of longevity.

It makes perfect sense for Bjorn to say that ABBA are no more if they do have any future plans. After all, it stops all the inevitable questions. If Bjorn was to say that they were working on new material, the pressure all four of them would be put under would be enormous. That would be the last thing any of them would want, especially at this time in their lives. If there is to be anything new, it would surely be done in secret. The first the world would get to know about it would be when it's already been completed. That's the way I see it anyway.
Bjorn says that but you can bet he will be one who interviews the most and appears on TV the most to talk about ABBA ...
It would be just like Bjorn's and ABBA's sense of humor to say "No, we are not getting together for the 50th anniversary of Waterloo.
BTW, we recorded the follow up to Voyage. The new album comes out in February."
We can dream. .and I say if Agnetha and Frida go to Bjorn and Benny and say they need to release an album on the 50th anniversary of Waterloo, you can bet it would happen!
I mean, they were so humble that they really had no idea they would go multiplatinum around the world AGAIN 40 years later with Voyage.

they were and are humble . Agnetha is the prettiest women in the history of the world , the solar system the universe and then that angelic voice that could soar or get you in the heart . She is my favorite ABBA member always will be the main reason I love ABBA especially her voice in SOS in the solo parts.

Better not mess with Inspector BB.:) I'm sure there will be releases from the archives further down the line, but the last chapter on ABBA as a recording group is closed, and it couldn't have been any better. But I would love to see them all on one stage for one final time at the ESC this year after a performance by the Abbatars, it would be a perfect last curtain.

Abba Voyage was a total surprise and very emotional for me / I respect that Abba are no longer an active recording group but please have a read of The Complete Recording Sessions / - there are unreleased mixes - for example the rock / early mix of Does Your Mother Know etc, Just Like That - the Tretow remixes of The Visitors, Take a Chance on Me etc .. / Abba live 1977, Hovas Vittne, the full version of Ricky Rockin Roller, - there are allot of things in the archives should you and the other members decide to release them / I say this with full respect and honesty - from Sydney Australia ❤😮

I agree with your comments that even though there may be no more new Abba songs released, there are many alternate mixes & demos that could be released, keeping the Abba legacy alive with their ongoing popularity. How about a gift to your fans Bjorn & releasing ‘Just Like That’ which we know is finished & Agnetha previously said she thought was a good song & hoped it would be released one day. I don’t believe it’s over BB, will be interesting to see what Eurovision 50 years brings.. Great video BB…

ABBA is no more was said long ago when the group disbanded. However, as we all know, that didn't hold true.
If not before, then even when our dear foursome is starting their transitions to their next life planes, like the latest from The Beatles, "Now and Then", there is always the possibility, no, probability, that there will be more ABBA. Though they may not be with us in person, through the amazing use of AI, they will certainly be with us in spirit to perform new songs written by amazing creators for ABBA to bring us more music for future generations.

Of course, while the 'Voyage' concert project continues, ABBA is a going concern. I think Björn probably is thinking about snippets of unknown songs, not alternate takes of known ones. He's probably also quashing any idea that the group will reunite for this years anniversary and especially in Malmo.
I may be in the minority here but Im okay if this is so. We were fortunate to get a new album from them 40 years after their previous album. They are not in their 40s or 50s. The youngest of them is 73. Theyve left us a wonderful legacy.

I think that all the singles and albums they have released should be enough and let them just get on with their lives and not constanly asked about anything else they have. They are a part of music history and just enjoy the joy they brought to our lives.
I think what Bjorn is actually saying is that he & Benny are perfectionists and don't wish to release any more demos from the ABBA vault. Which is a total shame for us ABBsessed!! Please Change Your Mind(s)!! 💛💙💙💛

Morjen aus Deutschland, ich sage mal so. Das letzte Album „ Voyage“, ist das, ihr letztes „ offizielles“ Werk für die Masse. Für echte Fans stehen noch genügend Archivaufnahmen zur Verfügung, die man jederzeit noch veröffentlichen kann oder könnte. Ich persönlich fände es sehr schön, wenn man daraus eventuell eine Doku Serie machen könnte oder einen sehr schönen Jubiläumsfilm zum 50 igsten !? Ich glaube aber, das die 4 noch nicht ganz am Ende sind und dieses Jahr ihre „ Krönung“ kommt. Verdient haben sie es in jedem Fall. Ich bin gespannt was da noch , so Schönes auf uns alle zu kommt. Langweilig wird es eh dieses Jahr überhaupt nicht. Halte uns auf dem Laufenden, denn du bist näher dran als ich je sein kann. Alles Liebe und Gute❤

I personally have got such a song. It suddenly came to my mind when I didn't expect it at all...
And it reminds me so much of their songs.

Il y a eu ensuite l'album "Shapes" pour Josefin Nilsson, les compositions pour GEMINI (Karin et Anders Glenmark), "We write the story" avec Avicii pour l'eurovision 2013... et enfin le miracle VOYAGE !!! Laissons la créativité de Björn et Benny s'exprimer et leur indiquer la voie, tout en espérant un autre miracle ! Au pire, nous aurons eu la joie de les revoir à l'oeuvre une dernière fois, ce fut déjà tellement incroyable de recevoir un tel bonheur !
What is true today may no longer be true tomorrow ! When "CHESS" was released, the two B's said that the group would never get back together... Then there was the album "Shapes" for Josefin Nilsson, the compositions for GEMINI (Karin and Anders Glenmark), "We write the story" with Avicii for Eurovision 2013... and finally the miracle VOYAGE !!! Let's Björn and Benny's creativity shine and show them the way, while hoping for another miracle ! At worst, we will have the joy of seeing them at work one last time, it was already so incredible to receive such happiness !
Still waiting for the complete Abba anthology, nicely reremastered and redesigned box set edition, something like the Beatles did... Why not? They really deserved this and a time has come...

It doesn't matter if there are songs in the archives (which there are of course). But if they won't release them, what good is that to Abba fans? I'm 100% sure we will see the release of some unreleased Abba song in the future. Whether we will all be alive by then, remains to be seen...

Like all fans from the start, so for 50 years, we are used to hearing the declarations of the 4 Abba which often correspond to their intentions of the moment but which often evolve over time, it is also often a way to reduce media pressure or that of fans or close the endless questions from journalists. But as good fans, we always wait patiently for the next announcement whatever it may be, and "guess our future would look bright"
I think that is a strange thing to say... he has been reluctant to commit to the idea of anything more than Voyage , that said they are getting on in years...I love that that they got back together , but at the same time I find it very sad that it took 40 years to 'get over themselves' so much wasted time.
We all know whats in the vaults but its entirely up to Benny and Bjorn if we get to hear it and, if so when. i'm really suprised how strong they've stood over Just Like That which we all know if finnished. We should also remember what one member of ABBA says in an interview comes from one member, not all four and every decision is a four person decision, although if one objects its an automatic no.

Because it's what fans want. It's quite normal for bands to release different versions on deluxe records or anthologies because they understand it interests fans. ABBA should stop being precious and allow us to enjoy their creativity.
I'd like to see Just like that, Hamlet, Sang Til Goral and Hovas Vittne released on a mini album along with the two tracks that didn't make the Voyage album. Then they can retire.

Maybe after they realize the hunger the world has for more ABBA they will change their minds
While they are all still alive it is rather needless to say "ABBA is no more". We don't expect them to perform publically and since three are nearing 80 years old there will be no dancing. However, closing the door on there ever being another recording is just dull. They don't even have to write new songs. I'm sure many would be okay with ABBA versions of other people's songs, like Agnetha did for "My Colouring Book".
Give the Abba members the well-deserved rest. They are all in their 70s. Maybe another song will come from the archive. That would be nice and otherwise it would be thank you for the music over the last 50 years.
