      I like the colors inside. Actually I like the paint job outside too. In the end I think you would be buying $99,000 worth of problems. You can see wear and tear on the outside, some of which could be a red flag for water damage. Buyers beware. I can only look myself and I do appreciate that opportunity. I sure do love the thought of this type of, "camping". lol

    I have noticed RV parks asking the year of my rig. They are not registering RV’s that are more than 10 years old. That might apply to this but it is an issue I am running into. Just FYI

    A lot of these coaches are pristine in appearance. The mechanical issues are what will kill you financially. I follow several sites and they all tend to gloss over the engine/transmission and focus on amenities. The 8V92 Detroit is an expensive motor to fix and maintain.

    • @therealjayseh
      @therealjayseh ปีที่แล้ว

      I'd be more worried about the suspension. Those old 2 stroke Detroit Diesel engines are easy to work on. The suspensions are a pain in the ass to work on, on any big heavy machinery like that. I maintain my own bus myself, so I know.

      The bus with nothing inside was probably around $300,000 to $400,000. The engine and transmission alone were over 50,000. These were built to transport people and luggage all day 24/7/365 for 10 years plus without major failure. The wheels and tires were probably 10-20,000 alone.

    People comment about how the interior is like its stuck in the 70/80's. The coach is selling for $99,000, are people thinking it should be all redecorated for the price it is selling for? It runs and as for the interior, you can update it little by little. Why spend a couple of million on a new Marathon coach and have to wait at least 4/6 months before you get it.

    So if you subtract 1993 from 2020 you get 27, which much closer to 30 years old an almost 20 years old.
    Please use your phone to subtract and not your mind.

    Andrew:. Appreciate all the videos for newbies like me. I'm looking for a riveted non-slide coach for $100k or less. Any ideas on where to start looking?

    No thanks! The only thing missing from that interior space is a stripper pole! Ouch!

    I think it is flashier than many/most newer ones.
    The outside paint is awesome but I prefer lots of stainless! The inside would be better with more black and less white.

    It would be a great poolside Casita or guest house for many homes backyards!!!. I've been in numerous buses in my life, some of them smell like booze, drugs, pets, vomit residue, and urine. I think a lot of these party buses have been used for chauffeurs services for parties. I see a lot of these luxury Party buses passing between Los Angeles and Las Vegas, and you can just tell they're just giant party buses. Also, some of the windows on these party buses, are used for mooning other cars, during bumper to bumper traffic across the desert freeways, during peak traffic holiday weekends. Know guns/hoses ( police-firemen groups) are prime mooners when they gather for parties on the Colorado Rivers.

    Nice motor coach, excellent paint job. Interior, however, seems a bit tight. And those 2 black chairs? GOT TO GO! Otherwise, real nice!

      He gotten in the habit of not showing any of the important stuff for some reason and that’s the stuff that’s gonna get me to drive 600+ miles to go look at another coach but if I don’t have an idea of engine and other important deciding factors then I’m gonna stay at home and look for another!

  • @donbaxley5530
    @donbaxley5530 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why didn't you give the year and mileage? That is all that is important not the inside. Any of that can be fixed for a few thousand dollars. The trainee, engine 10's of thousands.

    398: 1 of the best paint jobs ever, u talk about 50k NOW to paint a coach so yeah a flat deal for just the prts but if u r using it to get into tighter camping or state ark also great still under 200k cut off pusher number too, & if renting out in a camp ground the mileage not even a factor. Once u stating putting money into it u wont be able to stop though.

    This might be a stupid question but you have to have a bus license to drive those right or is there a clause because it is a motor home.

    • @RVstreet
      @RVstreet 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Each state where your residence is, has different requirements and are by weight. But for starters usually anything over 26K you'd need to upgrade your drivers license. This coach would need at least a Class B license or maybe more. This coach is probably in the 40K> range.

    • @badgerpa9
      @badgerpa9 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Check your state but if you own it and are not paid to drive it you do not need a CDL as that is for paid drivers. Your state may have weight rules but most states a regular license is good for a motor home.

      the paint job is 20 years old, not the coach itself
