That Western bypass background is so beautiful..I read sometime back IN September 2021 that the Nothern bypass will follow suit after the full completion of Eastern bypass nd the Kenol- sagana- marua. Project will be undertaken by KURA.

Had no idea on this, but realized for sure it is something that has been discussed. Let's wait and see though the compensation issue will bee a great one to deal with.

If they intend to expand this road, this is the time to not allow any development on the land that the road will be built on. It is cheaper to compensate someone for land that has not been developed.

Never worry about that..all this national highways will be completed because that's how Kenha,Kura officials nd some politicians eat nd steal govt resources. They steal through this "big billions" worth of projects. In order to eat more they have to build more highways nd look for extra others to build. Haven't you ever wondered why county govts struggle getting funds from the National govt to build Rural county roads?? Coz it's the county govt thats In charge of the construction not kura nor Kenha so hawatakula vilivyo. And any project yenye hawakuli it's stalled to death. Just go to any Rural county nd you'll find they're struggling to complete or build Rural roads worth a meagre 150- 300 million shillings or Even complete their Stadiums??but somehow the govt recently afforded 9 billion out of nowhere to repair Mombasa road. Ponder that.

At @Emerge Kenya TV, maybe it will be a focus for the coming years. And as @@kingkevin442 it is could be a cash cow to some extent especially when there was chances of having it dualled in the first instance like the cases we have along the Eastern Bypass where it was supposed to be a dual carriageway from the word go.

The county should install dustbins along the highway and the public must desist from littering carelessly.

@@sabasabinibinsaba356 vey true and there should be sanity on the roads. Maybe they should make use of CCTVs on the roads and ensure any person who goes against the good road usage is brought to book.
