Never saw this comment before but I can confirm lol. I spread their Japanese music to weebs lol, I don't tell them they are debuted in Korea until I know they are invested. Suptisingly a lot of weebs hate Kpop, they don't realize a lot of Kpop idols are Japanese and a lot of jpop is done by Kpop idols

I really don't know why this group isn't very popular in Korea. Their songs are great. I love all of their songs. I haven't found one girl group where I find all their songs great. But for dreamcatcher I find all of them great. This group needs more fans. ♥️

"Breaking Out" is a lesser known beautiful Dreamcatcher song, in Japanese, that concludes the whole Nightmare Series (originally the Nightmare Quartet) with a happy ending. It corrects the anticlimactic ending of "Piri" and gives fans the whole story - that's hinted in the end of "Piri" when they join hands.
In "Breaking Out", Dreamcatcher manage to cut loose from the red threads of Destiny and are joined together (storywise) for the first time since "You and I", when Yoohyeon was trapped inside the Nightmare (the Japanese version of the song is included in the same album, "The Beginning of the End").
I prefer this much more to the alternate ending thing which makes this ending feel less genuine. The Nightmare girls deserve freedom. It's such a good story honestly I miss this era...

TWICE japanese single such as "ONE MORE TIME" and "CANDY POP" and "BRAND NEW GIRL" are basically the same cute tunes.
TWICE korean singles are much more experimental (although it's still cute) such as "SIGNAL" and "LIKE OOH AHH" and "FANCY" and "DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY".
The same thing goes for RED VELVET.
RV first Japanese single is "#Cookie Jar" followed by "Sappy" (I like em tho)
Again, if you compared to their korean releases, "Power Up" and "Bad Boy" and "Zimzalabim" and "Psycho", you can see that they are much more likely to experimental.
I*Zone "Suki to Iwasetai" and "Buenos Aires" and "Vampire" is meh compared to their Korean releases.
There's nothing with cute tunes, they just trying to cater to Japanese audiences. But they kinda toned down the dance moves and songs quality. That's it.

Dreamcatcher are known for having harder sounding Japanese releases so if you are a metalhead, rock fan or enjoy anime osts you may very much enjoy their Japanese releases. The girls work hard on their Japanese and each release their pronunciation gets better. Things we are hoping for as fans are more Japanese game osts and more anime osts so we can promote them there in Japan since their musical genre(rock+metal) is very popular there. The girls themselves at a venue during their Japanese debut(about 600 insomnia there) they said themselves that they wanted to do an anime ost and their dream has been achieved, I'm sure they would be great to do more. They have been praised in Japan due to their music and their unique concept. If you want to stay caught up with them I'd recommend following their Japanese twitter and Instagram account.

You need to stop basing your beliefs off of useless show wins. Dreamcatcher is selling pretty well in Korea on each comeback. Piri even outsold EXID last album. So Korea is treating them quite well.
They're definitely appreciated more by Japanese and Western audiences. They've got top vocals, visuals, and choreography as well as one of the top female rappers, but Korea only cares about big entertainment companies and Produce groups.
@@CrowsRevenge1 I think they mean the amount of Korean fans they have, and how it seems that International fans appreciate them more. And, PIRI was has less hardcore rock elements they usually have, which probably made it more appealing to the Korean people.

@@yesno8785 the past 3 releases have all sold well in Korea with Alone in the City still sitting on some Charts. The Korean consumers are buying this album. The only thing they haven't done is win a show which is pointless other than for pride. Piri isn't even the best selling release in Korea.
Dreamcatcher is so talented since the day they debut Minx and then redebut as Dreamcatcher. Stop sleeping on them and bring them to variety show, etc. Dreamcatcher is so talented in everything such as singing, dancing, rapping and even cover other artist music song. Dreamcatcher I cant wait for another comeback from them this year before the year i over. Drramcatcher Fighting.

Unpopular opinion but, one of my top favorite songs by them
Siyeon's eyes and gestures here are no kidding, she really knows how to look at the camera to give almost all her unique aura.
They never disappoint. The chorus just takes it to another level. That unique rock sound is what sets them apart for me.
