- HELLO EVERYONE!! Welcome back to my channel and for this weeks video I will be sharing my experience with PCS'ing to Hawaii! These past few weeks have been absolute madness but I still wanted to upload for you guys, even though this isn't my regular content. Thanks for watching and I hope you all are staying safe and healthy! I look forward to all of the exciting content I have planned for you all once we move into our house! Also, please be patient with me, as my internet connection here at the hotel is extremely slow! Also, with the time difference (6hrs behind EST, 3 hrs behind PST) my uploads may show on Thursday for you even though I am posting them on Wednesday on Hawaiian time. Thank you!

@@kenyelxo Honestly, the speed on the interstates!!! People drive 50-55mph on the interstate (with the exception of a few people of course) but everyone drives so slow for the most part. I've seen a 35mph zone and a 45mph zone on the interstate! It's so bizarre to me lol I'm used to the 60+ zones in the mainland and everyone going minimum of 70!

Love the binder. I tell myself each PCS that I will be this organized lol. Maybe next time. Love the video! We just moved from Korea to stateside and I am hoping that Hawaii will be our next move.

This video is great. My husband and I are PCSing to Hawaii in march so we are going through this process now. I’m definitely organizing a binder or two this week with copies of everything. I’ll let you know how everything goes!

I remember Hawaii.
My first house the EarHeart house.
I remember moving to Hawaii in November 2005. My family first house was in Earheart. It was a ranch house. I would walk to my school from my house. I also had a secret alley way to swing. I also went to a wood park to play sometimes and one time I saw a rainbow there after it rained.
My second House the Gemini Avenue House
Some time in 2006 or 2007 we moved into a two story house at Gemini. I remeber riding my bike in our court and playing TAG games with my parents back in the day.
Nimitz School
In January 2006 I started Nimitz elementary school.It was very hard at first leaving Dakota Valley Elementary behind for me. I was in 3rd grade when the moved from Colorado to Hawaii happened for me.
I remember singing the Hawaiian songs and talking about the islands in class. I also remember Fun Friday and End of month celebrations. I also remember watching Anne in the my classroom and I remember playing Triazzle and did an animal project for the science fair which i still have. I also went to the Plantation village and Ice palace where i tried ice skating for the first time.
Then in my 4th grade year. I remember going to the Loi where I got a hula drum which i still have. I also did Freedom walk the first time for the 5th anniversary on 9/11. I also went to the iolani palace I also did bike education in February 2007 i used to be very afraid of riding bikes. My school also had craft fair where i got some ornaments from there which i still have today. One time a boy name Trevor broke one of my classroom balls at recess.
For the 5th grade I remember Starbase. I also did creature feature movie night at school one night. I watched watch Monster House.I also did the Fall festival the first time that year and I had outback for dinner and played games and did bouncy houses. I also sang its a marshmallow world for my Christmas program that year.
For the 6th grade. I remember the camping trip and the Fall Festival again and did Jumba juice and I also sangs its a soliders slient night for my Christmas program. I also remember dancing in an Indian celebration at my school on October 24th 2008. I also saw a lion dance in my school in February 2008 and 2009.I also remember service day in the school Office and Library that year. I also remeber my 6th grade end of year celebration and gradution with the oceans 808 and singing god bless the usa and youll be in my heart and circle of friends.
My Friends.
Annicka and Nadia
I have memories of some of my friends. I remeber My friends Annicka and Nadia had a sleep over in our Earheart house and it was a night mare. I also remeber Nadia hung out with me for the day while her sister Annicka had heart surgery. I also had a movie night with them one night in our house and I also did bowling with them and playing at the park with them and one time their mother had dropped Liam sippy cup he was not happy by them time we went to the park. I had done one time too after 6.0 earthquake happen the morning on October 15th 2006. I also remember running into them one time at Ala mona center one night as well as seeing in Enchanted and Horton hears a who with them. One time when I went to their house and Nadia lied that their room was clean. One time when I was playing their house a light fixture broke in the room.One time Annicka came over one Veterans weekend one November where Nadia had her eye surgery. I also went to Bellows with them for Boo fest in 2007 and i also did a picnic at hickam beach with them. I also went to a restaurant with them too in February 2007. I also played play dough with them in our house sometimes.
Gabby and Bethany and other kids.
I also remember my friends Gabby and Bethany. I met Bethany outside on the court of house one time and she had moved from Germany to Hawaii. I remember her mother mentioned this. She loved playing with play dough with Gabby so i got her some play dough toys for her 5th birthday in November 2008. I also did a playdate with Gabby at her house one time in November 2008 the day after her birthday. One time Gabby went over to Bethany house and her dad did not know.I told her dad and he got annoyed because he was looking all over the house for her but he understood. Then the day came where Gabby had to move to a new neighborhood it was so sad for Hannah that Gabby gave away her pool table to her one time Hannah even played with the hose with me in her backyard but she got into trouble in the end when her mom found out. One time Molokai got out which was Gabby dog who has probably passed away and gone now im sure and I told Ian who was gabby brother and he was like no. One time Ian also vandalized a shed with some of his friends as well and I also remember me and my friends buried a bird one time.I also dinner with Bethany too on June 6th 2009 and that was my last time seeing her.
Swimming/Beaches/Pools
I also remember Swimming at the hickam beach and my mother would ride her bike there. I also went to the Bellows beach.One time a girl at hickam beach almost lost her toy when it was about to float out into the ocean but i saw it and got it returned to her. I also remember the hickam pool and i played with girl there one New years eve one year. I also helped a girl Named Ariel who was afraid to jump into the pool. I also remeber one time I found out that you had to be 11 or older to swim in the deep end by yourself I got to stay in the deep end because I just turned 11 at that time but two other girls had to leave the deep end because they were not old enough.I also went down the water slide once. I also remember swimming in the Hale koa pool some times and one time with my cousins when they were visiting me in Hawaii. I also remember swimming at the pools at the Hilton and the Lagoon and pattle boat the lagoon with my dad when we were in our last days of Hawaii. I also remember playing on some beaches with my dad in Kauai in September 2007 and I also went to the Black sand beach with my parents and grandparents in November 2007 on our trip to the Big island.
Shopping
I remember Shopping in the BXTRA with my parents and would walk around the store myself sometimes. I also got a Hawaiian book there and some toys and a doggie day toys and dvd which I have today. I also remember getting grocery from the commisary and walking there from my house since i was across the street from it and me and my family got ice cream at baskin robbins too at the food court since we were so close.I also went to the Navy exchange NEX in pearl harbor and I would eat dairy queen outside on the balcony on the 2nd floor. I also got a glass turtle and some webkinz which I still have today. One time when i visited the escalator was broken in the shop and I yelled sweet. I also went to the Ala mona center too i would often visit the build a bear on the 3rd floor at the time which is not around anymore sadly. I still have some toys from there today. I also went to the Disney store too sometimes. I also went to Pearl ridge mall and I would ride the monorail with my parents each way. I also went to see Hotel for dogs in this theater in the mall. I also went to the 3rd floor of the uptown side of the mall for my dentist appointments. I also did some of Christmas shopping there too. I also went to the Ward Warehouse which is not around anymore sadly and Ward center too for The old spaghetti factory and Borders bookstore which is also gone now as well as well as Sedona store which has since moved from the Ward center recently. I also remember eating an Italian restaurant there twice which is also gone from Ward center as well.
Holidays and occasions.
I remember celebrating my 11th birthday in Hawaii and going to Farrells which is gone now. I also went to cafe Maharani for my mothers 39th birthday. I also remember going to Macaroni Grill at ala mona center for a goodbye party one of dads co workers leaving for Texas. I also went to Ruby Tuesday one for my friends father Justin air force graduation. I also had block party at my court for Grace birthday one year and we would have bouncy watersides. I also celebrated Nadia and Liam birthday one year at their house and one year on my 9th birthday i shared my birthday celebration with Annicka since our bdays were so close i went the wood park and got ice cream sundaes with them and i also had strawberry cake for the first time. I also remember Halloween I did not need a jacket for trick or treating since it was so warm outside and 100 of kids would come to my house every Halloween one time my grandmother took me trick or treating Halloween 2008. We also had thanksgiving potluck one year in 2008 which was our last thanksgiving in Hawaii. I also celebrated thanksgiving with my grandparents in 2007 in Hawaii. I also did trick or treat on a boat in Pearl Harbor the day before Halloween. Also one Memorial day weekend one year in Hawaii me and my parents got shave ice at the north shore Rainbow was my favorite flavor and green tea was flavor for my mother and Hawaiian Combo is what my dad would get. I also had valentines day party once at our court in February 2009 and I party with the other kids at Josh and Remmy house. The parents meanwhile celebrated the holiday at our house and I pour my drink into the popcorn bin. It was my very celebration last with everyone before we all had to move out of that neighborhood. I also celebrated Bethany 5th birthday with her in November 2008. I also remember the gift exchange I did on base for Christmas potluck in December 2008. I also would swim on Christmas in Hawaii since it was so warm.

How long did it take for your car to arrive?
The pack and play how did you take it ? On the box or in a duffel bag ?
We are PCS to Hawaii on March with a 5 month old baby girl thank you for your video it is very helpful
Thank you! I ended up putting the pack n play inside of the big luggage along with some smaller stuff that would fit next to it! It saves on one of bags instead of sending it alone as one checked bag itself 🥰
How was the EFMP screening? Command sponsorship? What’s the process on that.

Hello! I love the video and thank you! I would like to know how long did it take for you to receive your furniture from the time you shipped it?
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate it! We had our furniture packed on 9/24 I think (or around that date) and 9/10 crates arrived on 11/2 but they were holding it until the 10th crate arrived. I called and told them I wanted a partial delivery and it was delivered on 11/18ish and the last crate came in on 11/24ish and was delivered 2 days later :)
Thank you for responding. We will be arriving in July but I'm stressing because I don't want our things to arrive TOO late 😫 😅
@@Kiki2beautiful of course! PCS’ing is so stressful 😩🥺 we had to wait about a month and a half for our house anyways so it wasn’t too bad! I ended up calling and got into our house almost two weeks earlier than expected but if I hadn’t and we waited until the date they originally gave us, our furniture would have gotten there like a few days later 🥰

How long did it take to get your items?
So it took about 4 weeks exactly for our car and for our HHG it took like a month and a half - 2 months. They packed us up on 9/24 and the first half got delivered on 11/16ish and the 2nd part got delivered on 11/26 (one crate got left behind somehow and had to be delivered later)
She may need ears checked
Yeah honestly I was thinking this! Every time I see her grab or touch her ears I get paranoid and get her checked for an ear infection but I think a specialist might be worth looking into! Thank you for the advice!
How long did it take for your car to arrive?
It took almost exactly 4 weeks to get here. My husband was close enough to his job to walk there since we were in a hotel on base luckily. Car pickup was super fast and easy!
