The one flower that "doesn't quite look like a rose" is pretty close to how wild roses look. Technically correct, even if it's not what most expect when picturing that category of flower.
I always double check them during the editing process, and I make sure to frequently take my hand away from the drawing to show viewers how the drawing looks while I'm working on it. Unfortunately, it is impossible to keep the drawing uncovered at all times since I have to use my hand to draw and I need the camera above my work.
