    That last image Izzy was a cracker shot, the conditions were just amazing. Getting a 15min exposure with a 10 stop was brilliant.
    Beautiful images as always, thanks for sharing

    Nice one Izzy. I had a laugh to myself when you removed the centre pole from the tripod, I did that recently as I never used it and found it getting in the way! Probably does need a clean though.....I really liked the super long exposure, really beautiful! Hope you having a good Summer over there!

    • @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography
      @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers Adrian, I have put a centre column down before now and left without it 🤣 I’ll try not to do that again 🙏. Summer is a bit too summery for me, blue sky and 30 plus degrees. Roll on Autumn I say 🤣🤣🤣. Hope you and the family are well 🙏

    I think I need to invest in the viewfinder thingy for my GFX100 - it'll be easer on the back!

      Thanks Colin, I didn’t expect that walkway I came to photograph the rocks and cliffs but they got booted to the curb when I saw that walkway - lucky I guess 🤣. Loved that little visitor too, have a great 2022 🙏

    What a gorgeous, still morning, Izzy. I love those low-down images - including the cropped mono - and that last image almost looks like it has an aurora running through it. Beautiful work, mate.

    Once again Izzy - a great video. It is a joy to see someone who takes what they are given and does the best they can with it and not complain that it was not what THEY WANTED! Those images are superb - I especially like that the clouds did NOT move so much, nice counterpoint to the ultra smooth sea. Happy 2022!

    • @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography
      @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you Helen, how can anyone complain when it’s a privilege to see, move and photograph 🤣. Oh to control the weather, it would be permanently dawn 🤣🤣🤣. Happy 2022 to you too 🙏🙏🙏

    That's some patience right there. 15 minute exposures, definitely have to hold your nerve on those. The ultra long exposures did some really interesting things to the cloud patterns, especially that first one. Loved the wildlife as well, that ray was gorgeous. Great video, thanks for sharing

    • @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography
      @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you Ralph, always appreciated. I think those two 15 min shots needed to be so long get any movement in those clouds, it was such a still evening. Take care and look after yourself 🙏🙏🙏

    Awesome spot Izzy, you got some ripper shots! I really liked them all, especially the very last with those beautiful hues & the bnw imagetoo! How cool was that ray at the end😀😍

    • @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography
      @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cheers Peter, the warm light really made those greens pop! I had to desaturate that colour a fair bit too as it just looked artificial. That little critter made my day, I wasn’t sure if caught it but he/she put on a little show 🤣. Thanks again P 🙏

    Woah mate some stunning images once again Izzy, the master of long exposure. The B&W image @18;11 was bang on the money. If you do a sensor clean in camera it re-maps the sensor and can get rid of hot .pixels . All the best mate.

    • @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography
      @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks very much J, and I didn’t know that about the sensor clean 🙏. How’s the weather up there? We’ve had a couple of weeks of pure blue sky, great for sunbathing but a pain for photography 🤣

  • @paulcookphotography
    @paulcookphotography 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    A man after my own heart with the ultra long exposures and preaching the necessity of cleaning your kit after each trip seaside! Some really amazing stuff here mate. My Sony A7RIII has started to get a few hot pixels when I do these really long exposures. Easy to fix in Photoshop but wonder if it will become a progressive problem? Some outstanding images here Izzy! Really loved the low angle shot at 17:30. Shame those clouds were so stagnant. You'd expect a bit more at 15 minutes! But still came away with some real bangers, fantastic location! Great video to start the year! Wishing you a happy and healthy new year mate!

      @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Cheers buddy, salt can be a silent camera killer. I too expected more from the two 15 minute images but it just goes to show how slow those clouds were moving. Hot pixels can be a real issue. I don’t see many with the GFX but they are still there and photoshop is a blessing when it comes to removing them. Take care of yourself and that wonderful family of yours 🙏🙏🙏

    Absolutely gorgeous images Izzy! What a location and fabulous light. My heart was racing just as it would if I was there! I have a question.. when you did the 15 minute exposure, how did you capture the images for focus stacking? Did you still use the 10 stop or take it out?

    • @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography
      @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Deb I’m glad you enjoyed it 🙏 I usually do a very short exposure first on the areas of the scene that won’t have much movement in this case the walkway nearest me and then the long exposure focussing on the end of the walkway. I then blend if necessary, it’s not usually needed for the likes of Facebook or instagram but I make sure I focus blend for anyone wanting a print. Thanks again 🙏😊🙏

  • @MrEnglishgolfer

    Cracking video as always! Was just wondering if you get many hot pixels on the sensor when doing those 15 minute exposures?

    • @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography
      @IzzyAbuleelaPhotography  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, I am amazed at how few hot pixels there are. Exposures up to 5 minutes might have one or two the 15 minute exposure (the second one had around 8-10. When I shot with my D850 I would get about five times that amount. 🙏🙏🙏

    All nice shots, but for the fine art vibe you’re undoubtedly going for, definitely 18:15.
