That build don't make sense to me. First off, 48x19 is quite the low and spinny gear. Then, buying a 1k$ wheelset and equipping it with super cheap tires doesn't fit. Also, the wheelset is expensive but yet heavy, besides being not classic in its looks at all. The Sugino 75s could use beter dust caps and they are a little wasted with the Origin8 chain ring. What really bothers me is the chain lock on a fixed gear setup. Maybe this works for a while with the low 48x19 gearing but I wouldn't trust that one with any serious gearing. And where are the bar ends or the bar tape?
Thank you for your comment. Riding a fixed gear in Vietnam is a nightmare. So this rider also over 35 years old but he still love fg. That is why he want 48-19.
About the bar, he customized the bar-end (gold color part) so he don’t want hide it.
O8 tensioner help he can easy fix the chain.

hi,nice video and you just shown here how easy is to build a track bike , why the brake tracks on rolf track wheels ? why dont you use a 165 mm cranks ? Im 182 cm and using 165 on my fixie, 170 on my road bike , 172,5 on my cross bikes, and 175 on my mtb :D

The front wheel must be installed with the writting to could be read when you are on the bike, not that way you installed it :)

I have recently bought a Schindelhauer Siegfried (Single Speed) which I think a great bike and it costs only €1550.00. I don't know how this bike fells to ride, but I'd always choose Carbon Belt over chain.

Very nice 'old skool' build Sir! Love the chain adjusting screws on the rear drop-outs👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻There is nothing greater than building your own. Nothing but Campagnolo record/Super record etc. Ive built Youngs 531, Losa columbus SL, Daccordi, Cinelli, GT Zaskar MTB, Unica Dolan track Pre-cursa and my latest Bianchi carbon. All my bikes are customised builds. Building bikes like this is the best thing.

I don't get these video's. So all I have to do is go out, spend a load of money on parts and bolt it all together and I'm 'cool'. I fail to understand the same process when applied to cars, like the Subaru gang. They meet and just show off who spent the most money on their car. Where's the fun in that, I don't get it. If you gave me the same money, I could build the exact same bike. Where's the achievement apart from spending money? Maybe I just don't get it.
Thank you for your comment. I understand you. But these bikes are my customers’s bikes. They spent money to get the high quality component to ride it without any problem and safe. You can see no bike like any bike. Because they want to make a special bike for each of them with high quality. So they must to spent money. If i gave you the same money. You also can not build like this because you don’t know until you watch this. It means you will build something difference with the same money. Example: other people will say they can build like what you build because they watched what you built!
2/ for cheap components, you don’t have many options to customize your bike and not safe when ride.

Will always seem too expensive to the unfamiliar eye. Bikes like this are very specialist. For cheap bikes visit www.halfords.com
it is expensive, say it is "pro" do not justify the price... IMHO
The frame looks cool, but why would you put $1000 wheels but skimp on cheap handlebars that match nothing else on the bike and no grips?
