Most of the Mario Multiverse levels are traditionals and this is why I love this game; there is also a great variety in general.

Can we stop and appreciate the hard work put into making all these new sprites and animations.

Love this series, especially with themes like Mario 2 and Yoshi's Island. I'm not a big fan of the cat ones, but still fun to watch. One of the funnest aspects is the ability to write things via toads or whatever to help tell the stories. Closed beta or not, this is fun. Really do appreciate the hard work into these videos, and I look forward to each one! Great content as always.
I'm too impatient when it comes to playing games as well. I like the Yoshii's Island style the most.

The adult yoshi's island art and the beautiful art that has mario with an idle animation are my all time in n 2d Mario art styles. Even over official Nintendo art.

The levels have an oddly floaty camera. Gives it away that it's made in game maker or something similar. Still looks really impressive though.
I am not sure which engine he used to make this. The controls are sort of like SMB1. But it feels different for sure.

the two frame animation for monsters is normal
no matter what gamestyle you use, it uses the same engine and other styles rely on 2 frame animations
mario maker uses a different engine for each style, which allows 3d models and longer animated sprites
Then Mario wouldn’t animate when standing still.
