Infinity corrected the turbo failure problem in the 2018 model and up, but the 2016 to 2017 had turbo failure problems. Some people say that the standard 2016 turbos are OK until you modify them but at a certain point maybe 100,000 miles or less you have to replace the turbos. Yours being a 2017 model how are you dealing with this issue especially since your car is modified?
I just got the 2022 q60 luxe not even a month ago still getting use to I’m taking it to Galveston in 3 weeks should be fun plus i also got a f350 work truck gas guzzler that was my daily for 2 years only drive it to work now cost of diesel is ridiculous on that
First, congrats on your third addition to your young family and ma the baby be " a masculine child." Second, I love the q60, and it seems that the q60 community is growing.
Yo I got a 2022 Infiniti q60, but I got the check engine light on with code P2587. It says it’s the turbocharger boost position sensor. The car will accelerate slow with no power sometimes and traction control light will come on. But what I do is turn it off and on a couple times until I rev it and accelerates normal. What can it be?
Tbh I couldn’t tell you , I havnt got this code before but based on what I have it is a popular code and I don’t want to give you a wrong awnser so I recommend just taking it to a local mechanic that knows about Infiniti’s
Did you sell this car recently? I swear to god i just bought this exact car from texas recently. grey premium with the red paddle shifters, aftermarket carbon steering wheel? same wheels/fitment/everything
@@TacoLover1 I didn’t know you had to drop the engine. Unlikely but maybe you should complain that this is a defect from Nissan and they should pay for it.
Infiniti doesn't even think that this is a good car....They are finally stopping to to build the heaps. They are a dime a dozen here where I live...dealers are trying to unload 2022's! You don't see the cars to often because NO ONE WANTS THEM 🤣🤣
If they don’t think it’s a good car why did the put the same motor in the 400z ? Also they are only discontinuing the q60 so catch a lane and so I can’t put busses in you 😂🤡
@@ZakSmithhthe new z is cheaper to assemble than the q60 they just made a cheaper q60 essentially and put the price up they’ve been doing this since the 350Z A used g always cost less than a z for some reason and it has more features in every single way
Fam, I get Hella nervous and bugged out lol. glad to hear I'm not the only one your q60 looks fire btw keep it up!
Bugged out about what 😂 thank you bro
Yours aswell
@@ZakSmithh people watching me record myself talking into camera in front of my car!

Q60 is the best sports coup to come out of Japan.
My thoughts: “Good job to this 20 years old looking dude”. Then he talks about his 2+1 kids 😳
Hahha yeah little twist huh

Yeah about 4 months ago , dm me on Instagram s650.zak, I have a lot done to it your going to be happy
how did you get brand new engine and turbos for free at the dealership if you touched the engine in the previous one ?
I am not sure but I was not complaining
Keep it up bru great videos
Thank you 🙏
Thanks for the heads up I was gonna get one but now probably the supra.
Quick question. Are you an inspector in the construction, brother?
No I’m an estimator and project manager
Congrats brother!
Thank you 🙏
You sir have just earned yourself a new sub!
Thank you 🙏
I want one so bad!
Look at luxe you can get a luxe which is like base model and after you tune it will be the same power outcome
You where tuned n they still gave u engine and turbos??
Yessir engine and turbos
Why switch from Racebox? They are the best tuners for VR30s
Just to try a different tuner out for fun
Great video 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
Thank you 🙏
Be careful about the turbos. I just had to replace both of them at 55K miles. They cost approx $4k each to replace.
I got a new motor and turbos back in March all under warranty, plus something is coming big end of this month for the car 🔥
$8000? Why so expensive? $4000 for a turbo?
@@surreallife777 Yes, that is what Infinity charges per turbo. They have to drop the engine and the parts alone are $2000 per turbo. Crazy expensive.
@@TacoLover1I just got upgraded turbos and for 2 it is 4000 plus 2500 for labor , vid coming around January once I get them installed

I don’t understand why the engine blew up?
The previous owner was super rough on the car without taking car of maintenance as frequently as he should have
