This is my newest trailer for the incredible movie DOA: Dead or Alive, no story but lots of VERY cool fights, which includes chicks in bikinis, such a cliché, but VERY entertaining ;)
Compared to other fighting game adaptations, at least the people involved here looked like they genuinely had fun and never took things too seriously.
This movie was my favorite back then.. I could watch it all the time and never get bored of it. Something about this movie got me crazy to watch it😅

I liked this movie, and it never took itself seriously anyway. So I just can't understand the haters.
I mean, it's a movie based on a game whose most famous feature is that they go overboard on the jiggle physics. The games are good enough to play even without that, but anyone who was expecting anything even remotely serious knows nothing about the DOA games. If they can't even take themselves seriously, why would the movie.
This movie is dumb, but it's hella fun. I'd recommend it to anyone who is just looking for a corny good time flick.

Movies that are based on fighting video games are always, always super underrated and should be fun to watch, even if it's not for all ages. I've never played any DoA but I know people talk about the series so it'd be fun if DoA was made another live-action movie in the future.

Was very annoyed that Jan Lee wasn't a side character in the movie instead he just got knocked out in the early stages. Anyways I liked the movie. I watched this with my brother's when we were 7 it was a great movie to us back then.

🌸Actually, I have the idea to make a prequel series where they can introduce every character and then being continue by a film where the tournament is going to take place as the main focus.
🌸Beside, I would also like to put Marie Rose and Honoka as the second co-protagonists, as a way to introduce the world of DOA to the audience.

Hyabusia, in the games Hyabusia lost deliberately to her but I see what you are saying but he would prob only do the same thing since in the movie he had the hots for her which is erred becomes thay are 5 years apart, and Gaya USIA loosing to a steel door was crap(look to ninja Giden) in a fight in which neither obe of the two hold anything back Hyabusia wins

This was my childhood movie
The story plot is nothing new. Its been used on lots of movies, like mortal kombat. Basically the story is like this: Lots of skilled fighters are invited to a tournament on some island. They fight a lot and the last fight is always against the person who started the tournament, who turns out to be the main bad guy.

story is based on the game. and we know the fighting game stories are pretty much similar. difference in DOA is that it has a lot of girl fighters as main characters not like their other counterparts like SF Tekken KOF or anything else.

Picked it up on dvd for like 1 euro....no regrets, this was fun! Exactly what to be expected and actually not that bad. No oscars of course but so what! It was fun!

I was ready to watch a corny movie but it was actually not bad. I just didn't like how Kasumi just have a straight face all the time. Everytime she's fighting, they do a close up on her face and she's like -_- Where as the other fighters show some emotions at least. And they made Ryu Hayabusa so lame here. When they called him Hayabusa, I was like, "NO WAY THAT'S RYU! Got to be somebody else, like Ryu's cousin or something." Ryu would fuck them all up and not act just some sort of second rate body guard to Kasumi.

Idc if this was good or bad but I thought this was fun. Not every movie has to be deep. Movies like this need to exist too.
My favorite was the wrestler dad. I was a kid and didnt know the word “lesbian” but maybe growing up in a heteronormative household, I subconsciously “knew” I “had” to like boys, not girls. And that wrestler dad, well, even though he was wrong in his assumption that his daughter was dating girls and though he was startled at first, it really wasnt a big and you know, I think it was a kinda big deal for kid me lol. I was happy about his character’s acceptance but back then, my child mind didnt really know why.
