  • DME program mismatch caused the issues. Ignore the "warm up" lights on the tach in the running video at the end. The oil level/temp sensor is not working correctly.

Do you think it is legal to make carbon fiber of all car parts, even the car chassis?❤

Who was able to diagnose this base map vs other throttle map for you?

I don't know which specific maps had the issue or if it was the file versions having a mismatch. For example, 1601 base file versus 1701. I know the EWS deleted file with the tune on it was created from a 1701 base file. I determined the issue by matching the tune file back to the DME it originated from. This way I knew the base files would match. Since then, the only actual help I got was from a friend to get a stock/factory full 512kb file loaded onto the DME I intend to keep in the car moving forward. Now I have a known good 1701 factory file from which to have a custom dyno tune worked up. That likely won't be until the fall. I'm still waiting on some specialty parts. For now I still have the tuned DME from my other M5 bolted into this car.
