- In part three of our three-part zoom series on publishing, we explore trade publishing - books for general readers that you’ll find in your local bookstore. Key topics will be the role of the agent and editor, what’s in a good proposal, how the acquisitions process works, book marketing, and basic economics. Guests include Naomi Eisenbeiss, agent at InkWell Management; Makayla Tabron, editorial assistant at the HarperCollins Amistad; and Pronoy Sarkar, senior editor at Hachette’s Little, Brown.
Moderated by Kevin O'Connor, founding director of the Center for Nonfiction.
