Video on AI literacy referenced: vimeo.com/925137313 With 2024 U.S. Election approaching, questions about the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) and the fragility of our democracy abound. AI provides opportunities to protect and promote democracy. Without AI literacy and guardrails, however, AI could be used to mislead and misinform voters. Some say our ability to successfully navigate this...

The need for civic dialogue has never been greater. Our panel of experts, co-hosted by University Life and the Journalism School, explored how the often binary conversations around current events inform our understanding of democracy, the elements that prevent us from coming together for civil discourse, and where we go from here. This event is part of the Dialogue Across Difference Initiative.

It's so weird how all the white people at university all have the same exact opinions. They are too afraid to have their own thoughts because they know thise hateful white liberals will shout them down and get them fired. Their is absolutely no diversity of thought. It isn't allowed at colleges anymore. How sad.

Why deceptively call Racism "Nationalism"? Why hide and substitute the word "Nationalist for their true description as "Racist!" Nationalism defined: "Devotion, especially excessive or undiscriminating devotion, to the interests or culture of a particular nation-state." The word Nationalism does not equal and should not be used as a substitute for describing Racism! To call Racism Nationalism or Racist Nationalist is an evasive and disgusting play on words to hide the true description, beliefs, and practice of Eurocentric racism and bigotry which has caused death and despair to the innocent world-wide for centuries! Truth Seekers Unite!!!

There is a obvious problem here. 1. It's admitted the country was founded for white people. Which it was. A white, basically, white country. 2. For well over a 300 years the white people in the country were quite clear in wanting to keep it a white country. 3. The government itself IGNORED the will of "the people", and did the opposite by making the county multi ethnic/multicultural. Not just ignored the people's will once, but repeatedly. This defied not just the current citizenry in traitorous form, but the underlying purpose of the countries founding itself. 4. Final : The attempt, THE GALL to spin the otherside as "radicals" "supremacists" or "extremists" when they are aligned with the founding AND the citizenry for all that time which was ignored in it's calling for a continuous white country. In which the government itself was traitorous to it's own constituency. What this country was intended to be, and what it has become. Are VERY different things. How it became what it is, is not a story of freedom. But one of traitorous politicians, unethical people looking for personal gain, the SELL OUT of a entire citizenry, over a hundred years of coercion and propaganda. And for what? It's just a matter of time until it crashes. Unethical, intellectually disingenuous (or maybe just stupid) people continuing fight to lead a nation against it's own peoples will with forced integration, forced multiculturalism etc etc. Really endangering people, putting them in harms way for profit or personal agendas. Because when this tower of cards comes down this will not end well. So WHO is wrong? Who are the real wrongdoers? WHO was the radicals, the extremists, that went against the will of the people?

If the country was founded for whites (which I'm sure the founders believed) how does this work when 20% of the population were black slaves when the country was founded? I understand that they were denied citizenship, but abolishing slavery and granting citizenship immediately nullifies the status of the US as a country for whites. I will give you the benefit of the doubt and presume you don't believe that abolition was wrong and that those emancipated blacks had a deserving place in the US.

Another great open table conversation with Lisa Ling and the crew. Big fan of her. ❤️🙏I must say when the topic of " pornography came up, it seems everyone including the crew and Lisa herself are uncomfortable and perhaps afraid to touch the subject in this kind of setting of sex education without saying the wrong thing. Yet the show carry-on tastefully. ♥️🙂

This is a ``diverse conversation'' at Columbia? LOL ...4 or 5 leftists who have never voted for or even known personally a Republican in their entire pathetic lives whining like spoiled children because they didn't get what they wanted. The nutty mayor (pun intended) and the Asian professor sum up the self absorption , exclusivity, and stupidity of the academy quite well. Actually, it is rather hysterically funny to watch; this spectacle is something to delight in.

The fat Mississippi nurse and mom of the high school activist boy had FOUR kids by age 21, and yet she states that if she had had access to sex ed, she would not have ended up in her situation. WTF?! Seriously?! After the first baby at 16, she did not understand the possible outcome from unprotected sex?! So having three more bastard children was the unavoidable outcome?

The US shouldn't have a constitution. It's a waste of time. Where is the 1st amendment on campus? There isn't one. All the constitution does is allow the courts to legalise gay marriage, abortion and prevent gun control laws.

Jelani Cobb is always on point. It's very hard for African Americans to be optimistic when we are still at the bottom. Why ? Not because we want to be but the powers at be make it possible. Do you think for a moment that the creator created that many dumb folks. Give me a break ..... white supremacy and power is the reason for our problems. We have factual history to prove it. Some of us are blessed with parents who have overcame structural racism by obtaining wealth and education. We have to obtain power in government to affect change. We must have someone to look out for us rather than push us backwards. Who looks after white folks ? Their government. Enough said .......

I support sex ed but in the state of California it is illegal for two minors to engage in sexual intercourse and at the very least there is no close in age exception at all. california is one of the worst states there is when putting gay teens at risk of being charged with sex crimes as they are more likeky to be charged than heterosexuals for an age discrepancy. in california for a 17 year old to be with another 17 yo is a misdemeaner, at the least it is certainly illegal for a 17 yo to be with a 15 yo or an 18 yo with 17 yo. all sex crimes are sex offender status in the good old USA. so these classes are teaching kids something banned by the government...

Quit humping like some kind of primal mice. The act of sex is in itself the biological act of reproducing... creating another life. It is not a recreational activity.

SpawnCandy what about married people who are unable to conceive? We shouldn't have sex then? Sex CAN be recreation, exercise, bonding time with spouse or partner. God wants us to enjoy our lives. Sex isn't an enemy.
