I just finished this series. Really good in terms of storyline and each character. The chemistry between the two went well, although it was a little disappointing that they cut the ending for the next season. Makes me impatient for season 2! ❤
Wow I just made an amazing observation after watching the last episode again! Wu Bi is still alive!!! What a relief! 31:45 shows Wu Bi's bedroom is still filled with his things but Su Yu's room is empty and Su Yu's father's entire house is empty too! That means that probably something happened after the car accident (maybe Wu Bi's father found out about the both of them loving each other romantically) and Su Yu decided to move out with his biological father leaving Wu Bi behind... Can't wait for Season 2 if there is... Hope Wu Bi and Su Yu will be together happily forever!

Yes he is alive but if they would follow the novel's track, I guess Su Yu would be separated with Wu Bin because Su Yu would feel guilty as he was originally the target and he will be forced to make some kind of agreement with the cousin with a condition that Wu Bin and Su Yu will be separated and break their relationship apart so Su Yu's loved ones wouldn't be in danger. S2 would be a time skip where they are already adults and they would finally reunite. Good catch with the detail and it supports that they will go with this route because Wu Bin would still come back to their place without Su Yu and his family there and he would be alone

I just finished this series. Such a beautiful BL series of 2023 everyone nailed their characters👏little girl so cute and talented and WU Bi bonds with Su Yi's family was so beautiful, especially with that little girl also the way he tried to express his love to Su Yi through eye contact was amazing.which is not easy for a China BL they tried their best to hide the real thing of BL censorship well done director!! I also like his villain brother who has something in his action😁and the school friends scens all good ThQ for the director who shows the pure love bond of a middle class family! I really want to know what happened to Wu Bi, he doesn't deserve this misery ending! wu bi and the little girl scored 10/10☺️ Of course I like Su yi acting they both look cute and have good chemistry, but I was bit more impressed with Wu bi's and little acting!I like these kinda BL series so hope for S2😊

Omg I’m sobbing so much. I can’t believe this! Please why would they end it like that?! I was crying so much that my face hurts, eyes are puffy and I have a headache. 🥺😭 This was such a great watch! I was hesitant at first hearing it was an adaptation of addicted, but they did a great job with this. Of course addicted is legendary and I love guhai and bai Lou yin the most, but the actors in ‘stay with me’ surprised me with their performance. There were moments and mannerisms that reminded me of bai lou yin and guhai and the emotions they conveyed. Great job to them all. Plsss I hope for a season 2

I didn’t think it would abruptly end like that. I am little disappointed. They will probably not make a 2nd season, which was the case of Addiction. So I am very disappointed. But the series was good. Loved the two characters. It was well rounded with lots of depth. Thank you to the cast and crew, all the way from Portland, Oregon….with love!❤
I just finished this series and wow. INCREDIBLE! But I haven’t been this devastated since HIStory 3: Make Our Days Count…. just tears after watching Stay With Me. Like H3: MODC, the chemistry between the leads in Stay With Me is on another level. I’m very familiar with a lot of Thai BL’s, but the more I’m exposed to Chinese “BL’s” and (especially) Taiwanese BL’s; their series are becoming my favorite series to watch. I don’t know how to describe it, their storytelling along with the acting is insane.
Ok, I started watching it 2weeks after the last episode was released. I got to know about this series from a TH-cam shorts. And honestly right after I finished the first episode, I saw another shorts of the ending scene of the series. So basically I knew it was coming. I usually really don't watch drama's with sad ending. But somehow it got me. And even though I knew it, I knew through all the 23 episodes, I still couldn’t hold it. I cried like hell. I just can't imagine myself in any of their shoes. (Su yu and Wu bi) Lastly I wanna say, maybe the destination was not beautiful but the journey was.

@@justarandomyoutubeuser6796 It seems that you don't know that the novel writer Chai Ji Dan is the one who wrote the script for "Stay With Me" too... 😂😂😂 And another mistake is calling the previous Series ADDICTION as "addicted". The official English title is ADDICTION... as we can all see from the official poster to that Series. "Addicted" is just an aka used wrongly by many fans , just the same as "Heroin". 😏 As for the spoiler... Chai Ji Dan said that she was changing the entire story and giving it a different direction, just like she modified already the entire Season 1 compare to the novel. So... knowing the novel will only help us see the differences between the two artworks, just the same way it was in Season 1. That is... IF the ever make Season 2... because right now up in June 2024 there is not a single update about it... unfortunately. 🤷♂ Cheers...!

Just finished the series. I enjoyed it but couldn't believe how it is basically a retelling of "Addicted" "Heroin". It is overall a sweeter version, and we'll done but I really missed the raw intimacy of Chai Jidan's novel. Names are changed but the heart of the story is the same with less negative energy. Maybe we will get part 2 that we didn't get after "Addicted" It seems obvious from the less sensational story telling that the Chinese censors will not ban part 2 this time. I found a translation of Chai Jidan's follow up and was so happy to be able to read what happened after the wreck. It will be a real challenge to bring the second part to life if the follow the storyline in the second novel. So much happens in the military scenes of the second novel that will be hard to bring to the sceen and I am sure after seeing this version that a follow up will have far less intimacy than in the book. Also the fact that Wu Bi's father is not a military officer like Gu Hai's father leads me to believe the military aspect may be eliminated. In the novel Su Yu, NEVER MIND. In reading other comments after I started writing this I discovered my points have already been made. OOPS! my bad.

SuYu's personality is not as expressive as WuBi: WuBi has come out fo SuYu but not the reverse.SuYu expresses his love more with his looks, tenderness, and quality of intense silent emotions. SuYu is a bottom, his way of reciprocating is more in allowing and encouraging XuBi;s love and affection.
Wu Bi's cousin is a monster. Thanks to Wu Bi for saving Su Yu. This is love in its purest form.

徐滨(吴比)的演技是真的好，从保护苏御跟流氓对打，和哥/爸爸吵架的部分，各种小动作、眼神，把愤怒、暧昧、开心、悲伤、醋坛打翻表现到很细致，至少不认为是应该20岁的弟弟能够很自然地带出的感觉，希望他前途无量，期待其他作品。
张炯敏(苏御)的演技相对徐滨来说，比较多是接招，看对方怎么演就跟着，但是好爱他演委屈和嫌弃的时候，跟吴比说真相的、车祸的告白、刚开始各种嫌弃吴比的桥段，都让人很入戏。
今天看到花絮，貌似是选定了张炯敏的苏御，才开始找演吴比的人，找了好几个，最后才选定徐滨，徐滨也吃醋了，他是一试成主顾。
有空的朋友可以找找花絮看，真的很搞笑。
希望有其他的部分生肉可以释出，亲密戏都没了，人的贪欲啊😂
I just finished this series. Really good in terms of storyline and each character. The chemistry between the two went well, although it was a little disappointing that they cut the ending for the next season. Makes me impatient for season 2! ❤
Wow I just made an amazing observation after watching the last episode again! Wu Bi is still alive!!! What a relief! 31:45 shows Wu Bi's bedroom is still filled with his things but Su Yu's room is empty and Su Yu's father's entire house is empty too! That means that probably something happened after the car accident (maybe Wu Bi's father found out about the both of them loving each other romantically) and Su Yu decided to move out with his biological father leaving Wu Bi behind... Can't wait for Season 2 if there is... Hope Wu Bi and Su Yu will be together happily forever!

Yes he is alive but if they would follow the novel's track, I guess Su Yu would be separated with Wu Bin because Su Yu would feel guilty as he was originally the target and he will be forced to make some kind of agreement with the cousin with a condition that Wu Bin and Su Yu will be separated and break their relationship apart so Su Yu's loved ones wouldn't be in danger. S2 would be a time skip where they are already adults and they would finally reunite.
Good catch with the detail and it supports that they will go with this route because Wu Bin would still come back to their place without Su Yu and his family there and he would be alone

用了两天时间就看完了，说实话，很喜欢。
作为《上瘾》的粉丝，这部“哥哥你别跑”的意味也很深，从一开始争抢“哥哥”的身份，两人都用尽功夫去争取，然后时而示弱，看着很过瘾。运动会的一起跑到终点、一起努力考试上大学、一起开车去看海、吴比借着停电偷亲苏御、苏御为了查明真相被二舅冷落、叶婊为骗苏御也是下了很多功夫。
虽然没有办法在可以播的情况下，去展现两人的感情，也没有上瘾的那种爱来爱去，没事就干的态度。这部剧感觉更贴近现实，也更多在写全部人的剧情。
温馨之余，还带感，我觉得两人挺有CP感的，最后的车祸环节，但凡看过小说的人都知道，那是段“吴比”（无比）长的数月，第二季如果一样的内容，属实是折磨人，苦尽甘来，但愿《上瘾》的精神能借由《哥哥你别跑》的改编延续下去，换人就别了吧，这些演员都很棒！

24集結局留下了很多觀眾想要釐清的事情，劇後我大概去陸網查了一下第二季的大致主線內容:
1. 蘇御在醫院得知吳比平安脫離險境後，知道吳比是因為自己的緣故而幾乎喪失性命，所以黯然地獨自離開，並與家人商量搬離大宅院，從此過上沒有笑容的日子。
2. 吳比花了很長的時間才痊癒，但是身體已經留下了不可逆轉的傷害，當然也無法一圓當初的飛行員夢想了，在無法得知蘇御下落的情況下，只能默默地接受家人的安排前往父親在香港的分公司學習經營家裡的事業，並且將事業發展得非常成功，也時常返回北京總公司開始其承繼家業的人生，但是讓他不斷地返回北京的原因是因為那個地方曾經有過他一段刻骨銘心的回憶及一群人，他甚至將蘇家大宅院買下，當成他每次回北京的落角地點及療傷處所。
3. 蘇御家人搬離大宅院後，其實並沒有遠離過這個夾雜歡笑及淚水的地方，而是在附近不遠的地方另覓居所定居下來，並且找了新的小吃店店面，繼續為生活而努力打拼，期間蘇御過著人生當中最為低谷的一段歲月，知道內心牽掛的那個人，但卻不能輕易地接觸那個人，原因只是想要吳比平安、順遂的過日子，不想再因為自己的緣故讓牽掛的那個人再度陷入險境當中，此時的蘇御也並不是頹廢地消磨生命而已，一個他認為可以默默為吳比付出的人生大計畫悄然地在他心中萌芽。

Some info about how Season 2 might be:
1. After Suyu was informed that Wubi escaped danger at the hospital, he knew that because of himself, Wubi almost lost his life, so he left alone sadly, & discussed with his family to move out of the courtyard house, living a life with no smiles from then on.

Wubi spent a very long time to heal, but his body has already been left with irreversible scars, of course he's also unable to fulfil his original dream of becoming an astronaut already, under the circumstances of being clueless to where Suyu was, he could only accept his family's arrangement quietly & head towards his father's HongKong branch to learn how to run his family's business, & even developed the business very successfully, also often returning to the Beijing headquarters to start his life of inheriting the business, but the reason that he keeps going back to Beijing is because that place once had an unforgettable memory & a group of people, he even bought the Su Family's courtyard house, making it his safe plcae & healing place every time he goes back to Beijing.
3. After Suyu's family moved out of the courtyard house, they actually didn't leave far away from this place that is a mixture of laughs & tears, instead they laid down & lived in another residence nearby, they even found a new storefront for their eatery, continue working hard & fighting for life, meanwhile Suyu was living his life's most downrated period, he knew his heart is still worrying about that person, but he can't easily get into contact with that person, the reason is only to ensure Wubi live his days safely & successfully, he doesn't want the person he worries about to enter danger once again because of him, Suyu at that time wasn't just decadently passing his life, a big life plan was sprouting in his heart in which he thought was a way to silently give to Wubi.
4. 8 years after their car accident, there was an unexpected chance once, Wubi saw the news report on TV that a prominent astronaut established a 1st class triumph for the country & publicly accepts the government's praise, that astronaut's name was Suyu, who Wubi worried deeply for the past 8 years, at that time Wubi teared up, as Suyu fulfilled his life dream that he couldn't, although in those 8 years they didn't receive information about each other, but the intentions made for each other won't ever be less because of the distance of time, Suyu knew Wubi's drawback of being unable to fulfil his dream, so he resolutely made himself step on the astronaunt path of road that wasn't originally his dream, all the pain he suffered in between was self-evident.
5. There was a day where Wubi returned to Beijing during the holidays & went to the courtyard house to find peace outside the busy duties, just when he's thinking in a daze, he suddenly saw a shadow that he hasn't seen in a long time enter the door, isn't this the Suyu he worried deeply for in the past 8 years? When the 2 of them reunited in the courtyard, time seems is have momentarily solidify & stop, within the complex emotions of their eyes meeting each other is yearning mixed with lots of puzzling doubts, why did both of them never tried finding each other in so many years? At that moment they didn't communicate, what was left waas only their teary faces, unsure of how long time has passed, then Suyu turned & left towards the door, Wubi stayed ay his spot & watched that shadow leave, wanting to go forward & chase yet not having that courage & energy. It turns out that Suyu never left this place before, even came back every now & then, only that he didn't there step inside the courtyard house each time, only because he's scared that if he meets he'll return here to find his Wubi, so everytime he comes back he only stands at the door & peeks in, he doesn't know why he gave himself the courage today to step into the courtyard house once again, also unexpected factors allowing him to meet Wubi.
6. After the year of the car accident, Suyu discussed with his family about his idea of moving out, also confessing to Su Zhigang that his & Wubi's relationship is more than the affection between brothers, although Father Su knows that this is a combination that isn't tolerable by the world view, but seeing his own son going through big ups & downs in life, what's left on his face is just declining & hurt vicissitudes of life, yet he can only silently give his blessings to his & Wubi's relationship, so Suyu ultimately kept his distance from Wubi, it is because he wants to quietly protect Wubi for life, even if it is a sentence of gossip from an outsider, he also doesn't want Wubi to receive this kind of slander torture, also because he did his utmost to reach this goal, Wubi was unable to understand why Suyu is so cold & why he maintains a distance purposefully, both of them received quite a big impact from each other.

I just finished this series. Such a beautiful BL series of 2023 everyone nailed their characters👏little girl so cute and talented and WU Bi bonds with Su Yi's family was so beautiful, especially with that little girl also the way he tried to express his love to Su Yi through eye contact was amazing.which is not easy for a China BL they tried their best to hide the real thing of BL censorship well done director!! I also like his villain brother who has something in his action😁and the school friends scens all good ThQ for the director who shows the pure love bond of a middle class family! I really want to know what happened to Wu Bi, he doesn't deserve this misery ending! wu bi and the little girl scored 10/10☺️ Of course I like Su yi acting they both look cute and have good chemistry, but I was bit more impressed with Wu bi's and little acting!I like these kinda BL series so hope for S2😊

This was such a great watch! I was hesitant at first hearing it was an adaptation of addicted, but they did a great job with this. Of course addicted is legendary and I love guhai and bai Lou yin the most, but the actors in ‘stay with me’ surprised me with their performance. I didn’t think it would abruptly end like that. I am little disappointed. They will probably not make a 2nd season, which was the case of Addiction. So I am very disappointed. But the series was good. Loved the two characters. It was well rounded with lots of depth. Thank you to the cast and crew, all the way from Portland, Oregon….with love!❤

But I haven’t been this devastated since HIStory 3: Make Our Days Count…. just tears after watching Stay With Me. Like H3: MODC, the chemistry between the leads in Stay With Me is on another level. I’m very familiar with a lot of Thai BL’s, but the more I’m exposed to Chinese “BL’s” and (especially) Taiwanese BL’s; their series are becoming my favorite series to watch. I don’t know how to describe it, their storytelling along with the acting is insane.
Only one among the thousands gets a fortune like Romeo and Juliet 😢. The most sad ending bl series ever 💔 .

Good series... i cant accept the ending. So i searched the novel and read the accident part.... wubi is out of danger... he is alive. But suyu told his bro to inform to wubi that suyu is dead in the accident. and suyu left his place... that is the end of book 1... for book 2 they got married at end. Its happy ending

And another mistake is calling the previous Series ADDICTION as "addicted". The official English title is ADDICTION... as we can all see from the official poster to that Series. "Addicted" is just an aka used wrongly by many fans , just the same as "Heroin". 😏
As for the spoiler... Chai Ji Dan said that she was changing the entire story and giving it a different direction, just like she modified already the entire Season 1 compare to the novel. So... knowing the novel will only help us see the differences between the two artworks, just the same way it was in Season 1.
That is... IF the ever make Season 2... because right now up in June 2024 there is not a single update about it... unfortunately. 🤷♂

Just finished the series. I enjoyed it but couldn't believe how it is basically a retelling of "Addicted" "Heroin". It is overall a sweeter version, and we'll done but I really missed the raw intimacy of Chai Jidan's novel. Names are changed but the heart of the story is the same with less negative energy. Maybe we will get part 2 that we didn't get after "Addicted" It seems obvious from the less sensational story telling that the Chinese censors will not ban part 2 this time. I found a translation of Chai Jidan's follow up and was so happy to be able to read what happened after the wreck. It will be a real challenge to bring the second part to life if the follow the storyline in the second novel. So much happens in the military scenes of the second novel that will be hard to bring to the sceen and I am sure after seeing this version that a follow up will have far less intimacy than in the book. Also the fact that Wu Bi's father is not a military officer like Gu Hai's father leads me to believe the military aspect may be eliminated. In the novel Su Yu, NEVER MIND. In reading other comments after I started writing this I discovered my points have already been made. OOPS! my bad.
