This is a great review and explains what listings for this fan do not. Of course, at 57 decibels will be heard, but most likely much quieter than competitors. The only thing I’ve read is that this fan is top heavy and it has broken where the fan head meets the post. But, if it’s not moved around much, I can’t see this happening.

2021 mar I purchased a new Tefal. This fan is over priced. The speed-1 is super noisy motor. Speed Silent is good and quiet but very low wind. Speed 2 & 3 is not as noisy as speed-1. Lousy garbage. I overly paid for this. Someone in this chat adviced about this speed-1 noise issue and I ignored it thinking it has been rectified for newer units. But all are the same noise. Can’t sleep well
I just got the one thats got the stand at Marshalls department store for 70.00$ what a bargain! They had one more and should have gotten it too! These brand of fan is the best!

Trzy razy kupiony za każdym razem w innym sklepie i oddany (macie 14 dni na oddanie produktu jeśli towar nie spełnia waszych wymagań ) bo chodzi to jak stacja transformatorowa ! A ta funkcja Silent to jakaś kpina bo nawet na 2 metry to nie dmucha! 3 różne sklepy te same wady!! Poprzedni model bez tej funkcji chodzil ponad 15 lat, z tym gównem nawet 2 nocy nie przespisz !! ODRADZAM !!

2021 new fan. I got a Tefal look a like Roventa fan. Turbo Silent feature. It’s not suitable for room use because at speed 1 it’s noisy motor.
I'm still waiting to see how to get the band from around the fan so we can open it up to clean the grill and the fan blades

Okay, I made my choice. But tell me the difference between the models vu5570 and vu5670! besides of the moscito function is there more?
Mosquito version is colour white and the oscillation is in the remote and doesn't have silent mode.
