Yeah, it has never made sense that Alabama plays Dixieland Delight. It is a song written by a man from Tennessee about a Tennessee Saturday night. Admittedly, the band Alabama is phenomenal, but that song makes no damn sense to be an anthem for the University of Alabama.

Crimson tide is not an ocean wave. Legend has it the school colors are red and white …. Alabama played a football game against rival Auburn. Alabama’s team wore white….. on the field was mud…. Alabama has red clay soil so red mud. The red mud got on white uniforms and Alabama team played so fiercely that they where described as being a “ Crimson Tide” .
