To that class we may leave it to refine the vernacular dialects of the country, to enrich those dialects with terms of science borrowed from the Western nomenclature, and to render them by degrees fit vehicles for conveying knowledge to the great mass of the population."

    the high fees of Aitchison college is totally justified. that is due to the excessive workers wages to be paid such as gardeners in every corner, guards in each dimension of the college, the dhobis, boarding staff, chefs and turban makers. if u actually visit the college youll get to know about it being a whole town i side includigng its own shops. it also has its own stationary shops and the boarding is well equipped with coolers and warm heaters or even geezers plus good food. a normal school doesnt have these features. this is why the fees is high and like i said it is justified unlike beaconhouse and lgs charging the same fees for nothing in return. so please next time use your brain :)

Some of them were super intelligent but most of them were unfortunately dumb as rocks, and waiting for their father/grandfather to get them into the family business or politics.

    Good insight and amazing narration.
    Even though I liked the video, it was way too extended to the point it felt like word play. I know favouritism, structural inequality and what not does exist but due secrecy and exclusivity from within and outside, such instances are hardly reported. I feel like you couldve done a much better job if you had researched on how kids are enrolled. How does staff receuitment work, e.g. If I'm correct the principal of Atchison is often a white Englishman.
    Some privileges that the institute enjoys from the government. At the top of my head i remember that "the white Englishman" resigned a couple of months back due to some favours that was punjab governor was asking of him.
    See, even in secrecy you can spill some beans.
    _ps: a word of advice, even though i liked the narration, i feel like if you want to make your content more accessible to everday Pakistani and even the english speaking world, it'll be better if you could avoid using esoteric vocabulary when there are simpler synonyms available
    Keep up the good work🤙.
    Also hit me up if you'd like me to do some research on one of your videos, I'm waay idle lol_

    • @PakistanSimplified
      @PakistanSimplified  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey, thanks for the feedback! I totally get your point about the video being a bit long-winded-I'll work on making things tighter next time. You're right, I could’ve gone deeper into stuff like enrollment, staff recruitment, and the political ties, especially around the principal's resignation. I’ll make sure to dig into those angles in the future.
      Also, I appreciate the advice on the vocabulary. I tend to overcomplicate things sometimes, but I’ll keep it simpler to reach a wider audience.
      Thanks again for the support and the offer to help with research-I'll definitely keep that in mind!

It is producing world class leaders in bureaucracy and politics and business albeit with help of their parents influence and money, but it is grooming them into leaders nonetheless. You are just spewing allegations after allegations without any proof to back it up. Obviously those who can afford the best education will opt to do so, what is wrong with that? If you need to blame someone, blame the government for allowing this to happen. I would send my kids to Atchison if i could afford it and so would you.
