If you put your base supports (one you smashed off) on hinges, then put a brace between them at one end, you could attach the two supports to it with a screw at each side. Then when you want to remove the mold, all you have to do is unscrew the two sides and fold the base supports back. This will save you time and money, and probably frustration.

The wood forms are reusable. The circular forms are cardboard forms for normally used for light or flag pole bases.

Washing up (dish) liquid helps the form wood from sticking...

That's really neat, guys. I something very similar to cover a pump tank on my septic system. I need a 30-inch diameter circle. What is the PVC pipe inside for? Do you think that metal grate (what is it called?) is as effective as re-bars? I was planning to make the mold out of wood, but that pre-formed cardboard is nice. What type of place would have this? Thanks.

Basic Poke The PVC pipe is for a lifting bar to allow for ease of placement and removal.

You killed your mold get it out, you should use mold oil, you didn't include and lifting hooks of any type, your mold lifted as you were poring due to bad design, this means the thickness is wrong. If i made this video of work this poor no one would ever see it that's for sure!
