We used to listen to this song at the end of our course on the hill. We had dreamt of becoming filmmakers and actors and musicians but when we reached our beautiful, picturesque, resort like college on a hill, we felt cheated, the course was shit. We (me n my best friend) used to listen to this song. The capable, driven, young with integrity, at the end of their (formal) education, vibing to 'we were wasted'. Tells you something, tells you a lot, fits with the current political order of the world doesn't it. We both got fairly cool jobs, few got one at all. Now it's been three years since we left college, I have an exam tomorrow for a new profession (professor) that I will not clear. Next time, surely I will at least try. So this is how my life turned out so far. It's good, the bad is not so bad. It's actually a pretty full life. Could've been more but still, could've been a lot worse still. Possibly, it couldn't be better than this either. I wud like to change a few things but...
I didn't feel sorry for that dog when Joseph killed it, that dog was clearly messed up in the head and was a danger to the community. The dog owner was a damn coward anyway.
I identify myself with Joseph. I'd love my family but I'm lack of feelings to demonstrate it to them, I've had accepted Jesus in my heart but I can't still showing my feeling.
I meet so many people like you who either take my comments for me acting as if it was a real life event or don't understand the art of movies. The dog's owner messed with his head yes but I guess you could say the same with a child and how it's parents brought it up.
@Trevor Trump I think you're right. I thought it was behind the Best One shop in the Lingfields in LS17. A lot of those kinds of buildings look very similar. But yeah, when I watch the film I just spend it guessing where everything is XD
The guy's deceased wife was overweight and he used to call her Tyrannosaur because of the sound she made coming down the stairs. It sounded to him like the dinosaurs feet in Jurassic Park. Don't worry, this is not a spoiler.
Saw this film last month. Can't forget it. And it introduced me to a great band
Peter Mullen and Olivia Coleman are FANTASTIC in this film.
What a film, it really touched a core in me. My grandfather was domestically a violent man but my father was the kindest most loving man. Just sad
A msterwork of cinema in every sense of the word.
Just finished watching this film, really touching , loved the music.
What a film,
Was not expecting that.
Highly recommended,
Thank you paddy.
This is a one off film, gritty, beautiful, sad every emotion we never knew we had,
One of my alltime favourite flics ! Truly stunning performances.
I am so moved by this song and the movie. It fit so well.
Absolutely outstanding, there's nothing else to say, thank you ❤️🦋🌈 the leisure society,
" Noooooo ..... 😫😫😫😫....you killed my doggy !"
This song fits in so well with the bitter sweet ending to the film.

Just saw this on Netflix. Brilliant movie and song.
un film merveilleux et une chanson delicieuse
I love this live version of the song. Wish it was available somewhere.
He reminds me of my uncle in Scotland.
Excelente película!!
Its a crime that it did not even make back its budget of £750,000..
Hal, the after years.
İstanbul da şu an bu sinirle dolaşan ben de dahil çok kişi var...😂 Oyunculuk 10/10

Prey.
it's a movie, stop whining. Oh, and it's not the dog you should blame, no dog is dangerous, it's the humans behind it.
Si hay un Dios. En esta peli es JUSto...THE END

@Trevor Trump Found it. youre right :)
The dog wasnt messed up. Tgese dogs are mostly bred for fighting, but if socialised correctly, they are nice.
We'll agree to disagree
Walking Dead brought me here
And you are telling me that? Get lost.
Why does it have that name?

For such a sad movie, this comment made me choke on my water.
