hI, I did my soft landing and returning to Canada after 1.5 years, I did not give this list in the first landing, will it be accepted now? Though I do not think I will carry and valuable items to and from the countries, but still thinking to keep it stamped on safer side.

Thanks a lot. It's better to fill and take two copies of Goods accompanying and Goods to follow. BSF16 and BSF16A forms are available online.

Hi, there are groups on Facebook such as Ask Kubeir, New Immigrants in Canada, Canadian Immigration Law etc. We had mentioned the tentative amount we would be bringing in Goods to follow, so it can be declared.

Hi, thanks. Sorry for the inconvenience. On common mistake or rather miss is not sharing goods accompanying and goods to follow list with the CBSA officer. Many times the don't ask for such documents, hence make sure first to prepare set two copy of goods accompanying and goods to follow form and get it signed and stamped . Another Mistakes is not mentioning amounts in Canadian dollar on forms as well on Jewellery valuation, so avoid that. Goods to follow list are mostly relevant for people whose goods are coming post their landing either through transport/shipment/second landing. Form 186A is to be filled for that purpose containing brief details of items along with its value in CAD. Regarding financials, you can bring in as much money you want and are required to declare cash only over $10000 at landing.
Hii bro.. first of all thanks for sharing this very informative video.. im planing for softlanding next month.. will be planing to move permanently next year mid. Im planing to bring some jewellary during my second landing. My questions are
1) So do i need to fill goods to follow and get it signed and stamped from them during my first landing?
2) is there any limitation of jewellary we can carry?
3) And do we need to declare each electronic items like charger, airpods in the list?
4)Wat if we include something extra in the luggage which is not in the list which i declared while softlanding?

1. Yes, it's recommended during first landing. 2. There are no limitations on how much Jewellery one can bring. 3. Only major electronic items should be mentioned such as laptops, camera, mobile phones. 4. Goods accompanying and goods to follow list are tentative not an exact count of items.

We got our pr under pnp program of Alberta and now we are inEdmonton . We got our immigration done In Montreal and were asked regular questions and than they stamped copr and congratulated us for becoming pr . Kindly answer our question:
1. When and how we’ll get our pr card since there was no documentation done other than stamping copr .
2. No body asked for our declaration of goods though we had it with ourselves and we haven’t submitted it either . Is it going be problematic in future.
1. The PR card will be mailed at the address provided during port of entry within 1-2 months.
2. The officers usually don't ask but we need to provide them upfront. If there are no major things you want to take back and forth between Canada and your home country then it's fine.

These are not mandatory, however if there are goods which you would be bringing later on then it's better to have goods to follow list. Also, carry all documents and it's copy which was used during PR process.

@@shrinivasiyer8313 Goods to follow list is basically for items you are bringing later on. If you are bringing cash over $10000 then only it has to be declared at the time of landing. In case of online transfer, there is a yearly limit and applicable taxes are levied on international transactions (You can check with bank on limit)
Parents landing at pr in pgp sponsorship. They don't speak English, I'm also in India. They are going to land and come back in a week otherwise their copr will expire. Can i write a letter explaining everything in case the immigration officer cannot understand. Or it's going to be okay right? My parents are over 65 years old. Are they friendly?
CBSA officers are quite friendly but they will ask questions to the applicant only and that too in English. They usually ask about the purpose of landing, how long you are going to stay, will check forms and ask to sign. Get your parents acquainted with basic English atleast and prepare all documents required for landing properly, it should not be a big problem. You can write a letter of explanation but not sure if it will help.
i think ONLY to first 3 or 4 documents are neccessary if coming to Canada on a spousal visa
I landed a few days back under family class spousal PR. I’ve just received the PR confirmation client copy (landing paper) only. I have not received any B4 form from the immigration officer.

Not mandatory but better to include in the list
and their evaluation? is it necessary as some renowned jewellery brands are deniying to evaluate jewellery from other brands.

No. In that case make sure to carry your employment letter and work experience related documents.

Hi, It won't be any problem at all. CBSA doesn't check education or experience related documents.

secondly, if its a couple will they have their individual forms or its 1 form for the whole family
Only one form per couple/family has to be filled in.
