Yeah, it was crazy to see them go back to the same spot and approach it the same way they did way back in the day. I just can't believe where time has gone. How did we get here so fast? I still clearly remember when I watched their first trip to Botswana. I had Dish and was watching it on BBC in New England. Moved all around the country since then. Ironically, I ended up back in a house only 5 miles away from the house I lived in as a teenager and watched that Top Gear Special.....
I also used to watch Top Gear religiously with my two closest friends who both died within a year and a half of each other at the age of 33 and 34.....among many other things, I wish they were alive to see The Grand Tour come full circle with me. Like I said....Time just eats us alive.
@@UnkommonSense-z5e Sorry to hear that brother/sister. Time really does fly and all we can really do is cherish the moments we do get with each other. Those moments live on within us forever. It really hit me hard after this episode. I hope you've found your peace and strength to move on, I'm sure your friends would be cheering you on.
7:14 those guys in that car are just fantastic. And this moment symbolises the impact these three had on the world: Jeremy looks at a random car in the back of shot, calls the occupants dickheads, and they all get out and laugh about it.
Look up James Mays first appearance. That's when it really started. He didn't show up till end of season 1. I have it all on DVD and the first two discs feel odd.
The camaraderie between them all. Even WHEN they annoyed each other. They were always there when it mattered. Love ALL of series and all the lad's. Thank you lads. ❤❤❤❤
That cut after James says “NO” of him getting into his car makes me laugh every time I see it haha. These boys will be missed. The auto enthusiasts’ equivalence of everyone’s favorite band breaking up.
For me as a proud Stag owner in Germany the funniest thing was, that they talk badly about the Stag, but after 50 miles only the Stag was still running. ;-)
That whole skit with the beetle... it would have been funny if as they drive off they discovered another "forfeit car". The implication being that they just flung some random residents car off a cliff. "Run awaaaaay!"
Jeremy electrocuting himself and hammond 's car bouncing up and down had me on the floor😂. U three never fail to make me laugh, even if itwo through the tears
i didnt hear the crew laughing at the old folks home and james' contacts list jokes when i watched it at first glad the final one had a production crew segment at the end
Thanks for everything Jeremy, James and Richard. Miss you guys together already. That ending made me cry hard. Had to have a good glass of scotch or so while watching the end and dressed up a bit like you three just to remember the good times and the bad times. You guys were always there when I needed a smile whenever a shitty day for me happened, the telly always had Top Gear on when I needed it and when I had the chance to watch The Grand Tour I had to catch up and catch up fast for it to watch Lochdown amongst the other stuff and cried when I saw your first farewell with season 3 to the tent, then I cried again when I finished One For the Road, my favourite moment I feel is where you guys ended it in the show… where it all started in Botswana. Thanks for everything gents.
Lovely hilarious highlights from the finale of the greatest show, featuring the greatest trio.... in the world. Gonna miss these three so much, I definitely feel like I grew up with them.
Such a great send off. An excellent example and summary of what Top Gear and The Grand Tour were over all the years. I only started watching Top Gear about season 16, but man... what a run. Hats off to the Orangutan, Captain Slow, the Hamster, and all the film and production crew over the years. You really made something special.
Still haven't watched this yet.... Life is too utterly miserable, and has been for weeks. I just can't bring myself to watch this absolute heart break in video form. One day
say what you will, but it really seemed like they were more friendly towards each other in this episode... quite a few heartwarming moments, a lot of laughs and a grand feeling that an era has ended with the end of this special this trio will surely be missed by a lot of people
4:53 I know that what's Jeremy was saying ended in a disaster, but was he was saying is true and it makes more sense now why James Lotus made it all the way through Patagonia.
What's your favourite funny moment from The Grand Tour: One For The Road?
Richard Hammond as Buttons
Saying yeet too the beetle
Clarkson's Rimac reference. That was so brutal, so fast, and Hammond had a genuine laugh at it as well.
Deleting our numbers scene
When the locals (Me) met the crew
I had a good cry after this special. End of an era
Truly a bittersweet moment. Every good thing must come to an end unfortunately, but the legacy will live on.
Me too!

"So was that Rimac" 😂😂
lol💀
That was my favorite line! 😀
@@TNTinFL The delivery was pitch perfect Brit sarcasm
Only a true friend would say that.
Jeremy calling the locals dickheads was the funniest one for me, bless the locals for being such good sports about it
Thats us mate😂😂😂😂 honestly didn't mind cause he apologized shortly after. Besides we were way too excited to see the guys.
He then treated them to some ZESTY DRINKS
7:14 those guys in that car are just fantastic.

Thank you, Clarkson, Hammond & May, you three filled my childhood with great cars and fun.
James actually deleting their numbers at the end made me laugh while i was already crying
Take us back to the start of all of it 😭
Look up James Mays first appearance. That's when it really started. He didn't show up till end of season 1. I have it all on DVD and the first two discs feel odd.
I'm crying right now.....
Very grateful for the shared memories... so sad to see this end..
Speed and Power! Thank you for entertaining us. Hands down the best trio in TV.
The camaraderie between them all. Even WHEN they annoyed each other. They were always there when it mattered. Love ALL of series and all the lad's. Thank you lads. ❤❤❤❤
4:08 That’s just like what they did on the Great Central Railway on Top Gear back in 2011! 😊 👍 🚂 🚙
Ye lol
Some say it was the greatest show ever made.
To me it is❤
And it was.
That cut after James says “NO” of him getting into his car makes me laugh every time I see it haha. These boys will be missed. The auto enthusiasts’ equivalence of everyone’s favorite band breaking up.

"Run awaaaaay!"
Richard Hammond: This car was in brilliant condition when I brought it
Jeremy Clarkson: So was that Rimac
Jeremy electrocuting himself and hammond 's car bouncing up and down had me on the floor😂. U three never fail to make me laugh, even if itwo through the tears
That's fine, this is your home, big 👍 for the guy, respect ❤
i didnt hear the crew laughing at the old folks home and james' contacts list jokes when i watched it at first
glad the final one had a production crew segment at the end
Belly laughed when the camera cut to James' boat after Clarkson said "HMS Eco".

I couldnt watch this special more than once cause i just start tearing up.
Thank you JC JM & RH - without you my teens and early 20s would have been very boring.... Once in century
I don't cry from movies and TV shows. But, the end of this honestly made me tear up.
Rip grand tour!!! One of the greatest series to exist!!!!
Jeremy Laughs like Mutley from the Wacky Races 😂

Really gonna miss these 3 idiots lol.
The end of the best trio the world will ever see. Gonna cry
The best last show ever
Three old mates having fun....Clarkson the genius, Hammond the risk taker, and May the straight act
I'm crying watch this episode and I feel empty after watched it 😢
This is a once in a lifetime team. They will be missed.
Between this and topgear there never really will be another show like this.
The Funniest Trio in TV history
I thought the Ford Capri was so happy on the road that it decided to bounce on its way for an memorable ride.
James wearing a "Joy Division" T-shirt. Top Man
Good episode from the 3 men from top gear and grand tour gonna miss those guys this made me cry
4:53 I know that what's Jeremy was saying ended in a disaster, but was he was saying is true and it makes more sense now why James Lotus made it all the way through Patagonia.
Can't stop laughing with James when Richard removed all the Capri's shock absorbers
01:37 We all know that had that been an old Hilux, it might need new tires, but would otherwise be good to go.
0:31 uhh i hate when that happens
cried a bit when it finished poured my eyes out 5 minutes later
3:30 hey Clarkson you wouldn’t believe this
We could craft a biro onto it, then you'd always have a pen 😂😂😂
So was that Rimac, Ford focus rs and Vampire dragster any many more.
i cried when it came to an end 😢😢
Fun Fact, the Beetle is still rolling
thank you
I can't wait this cos can't buy it on dvd
Прошла эпоха великого шоу и великих машин😢
Do some behind the scenes specials with the crew!
*sobbing uncontrollably*
Now we need "Two for the Money" and then "Three to get ready"
The end of an era for three GOATs. Also, is the beetle not coming on then?
Pls bring this back pls amazon
It’s over dude
After all these years clarkson still hates the 911 and the beatle
We`ll remember you boys, we`ll remember you
My idol is always will be Jeremy Clarkson
Ye end of a era for the grand tour

The saddest thing I feel is that their adventures are now over.
The BEST 3 EVER. / Top Gear UUU Kicked Them OUT. Grand Tour UUU Made THEM BETTER
WHY DID IT HAVE TO END
I always wondered for the cars on train tracks. Couldn't Hammond of put his car in reverse? If the car wheels spin the track wheels the opposite way?
Yes, he could have, but you see, cars have only one reverse gear, and that doesn't go fast enough...
How long can you drive a car in geared-down reverse for?
@@K1W1flywith cvt car and ev car, theoretically you can go backwards as fast as you can go forward
❤
episode?
Do you know why you haven't had a reply to your question?
Because your question is symbolic of the decline of the human race

Отличное шоу, очень жалко что закончилось , в россии даже в зале ожидания в здании автоинспекции по телевизору показывали ваше шоу
👍🏻
"a brommhandle"
Change the habit chaps
One is presidential and a great American. The other leads a cult.
Jeremy is our trump 😂
Too soon
They should get a knighthood but have to be in the same old folks home.
Grand tour ended before GTA 6 🤡
it is a very big disappointment, but it is time to end now, o7s to the three for doing it so long, and goodbye
Thank goodness this is the last of these 3 old farts ,,I find them annoying there not funny,, good riddance Jeremy, Richard and James ...
