3k hours and i didnt know that you can put small boxes on vending machines
I got 1k and had to see if it worked
@@splixer4331 that’s a lie, I did it the patch they made helps behind a scrap wall
But it was prob even sooner than that when added
It's been a feature for a while, but in the past, whenever you did something in the base, open something, break/place something, the boxes would break. Can't remember exactly how it worked, but i just remember that the boxes would break and it was scuffed.
In my experiences the boxes would only break if you had them edged on top of a vending machine that was in a door frame.
Never had an issue with the vending machines placed flat.

its enough storage for 5 but only one bag spot unless you out bags in airlock or in another base close by

4k hours have built several group bases with compact loot rooms, and never did i once think the a small box could go on top of a vending machine, this base is super cozy, and at first when i saw the hqm window i was mad confused, but the i realized it was a vending machine bunker, amazing video, i like the music, you have earned my sub

not trying to be mean all the home for the vending storage and it is 16 c4 to raid through walls and like 10 for doors its a cool conecpt but not very easy to accomplish in vinilla even know of its size you should just uses wood boxes and upgrade all walls to hqm

This looks like a noob base but its actually a tank
its a 2x2 with the hqm cost over 500 id say, that costs around 23-25 rockets (trough the hqm) and isnt expandable (and if it is than i wonder how cuz ive never seen a base expand while it has unnecessary roofs as honeycombs and especially A FUCKING GATE with two external walls preventing the second floor). The only reason this base is ok is the storage for a 2x2 and even for that the base is extremely expensive and has no good way of defending against and online raid + u could have maybe even more space by simply making a second floor that will be a secondary loot room that will with a regular 2x2 core make up for the venging machines with increased mobility.

@@thefinnimo8483 i like my base to be nothing but a really well expanded 2x2. Ive never seen a triangle base to have a good storage + raid cost at the same time but if u know one then Its probably gonna be better than the base in this vid
@@maks3047 well you can try un lootable loot rooms with triangle bases or multi tc with hqm bunkers and you can make 4 of them with the right floorplan which makes the loot 64 rockets its not the cheapest way but ita a strong way

Having just now discovered this, I'm so excited for how OP it is now, you can do the hidden solar panels on the top by covering them with roofs just making raiding from the top down even less appealing. Very powerful indeed!

That is the best base design I have seen... The storage capacity is amazing and after 2.5k hours I had no idea about small boxes on top of vending machines...that's so awesome!
Instead of the high walls, I may make a variant with a single bunker at the front... Just to make it so they have no choice but to go through walls.
The moment you put that small box on top a vending machine I subbed and liked.
You're my new favorite builder in Rust after watching this video. This are the type of bases I love to see.

Yeah, this is really cool! Love the usage of the Armoured window to get in and out of the base, cant believe i never thought about that! It would be great to simply log off and put reinforced glass in the window, clever use of vending machines too, blocking the entrance exit path, though I never find the BP.. as for putting small boxes on top, genius! I didnt know it was even a thing!
Ill certainly ly be incorporating some of these ideas in my next base! Great work!!!

Don't know if you you saw, but FacePunch added colliders to the front/back of vending machines w/ the latest update so the vending machine-window airlock won't work anymore since they can't be placed flush against walls now. Was really looking forward to building this next wipe too...

i will suggest the paranoid US solo/duo/trio server
That small compound is nice, you could place oil refinery, growing bed or more furnaces there. Also really good opportunity to have turret facing the gate if you get one, people trying to slip in will be werecked.

The vending machine block is a really good way to make your opponents use more explosives and break something thats 1250 health🤷♂️😂
Big plus is that a refinary can be integrated easily in the front space, also adding another external wall in front of the gate is a good airlock making it harder for people to access said refinary and go deep

Great design. Lots storage and a cool entrance.
Going to try and make it with auto turrets either side of the front door for a trap/defense element with the wooden gate.
I used the base design solo and loved it kids tried to raid me but got killed by shotgun traps also really love the compound
The fact I will never be good enough at rust to need this much storage saddens me
16 c4 from the top down gamble on hitting the square with the tc thanks for the loot and premade outpost. That will get a look out tower put on top connected to the overhanging stone ceiling to the front door.

One thing I noticed tho was you might want to upgrade the floor to metal to stop players from soft siding spearing the floor to get rid of the cheeky vending machine placement.

I just used this base design, they used 25 rockets, 22 satchels, 1 C4 and they didnt get in and died to my shotgun traps and i got all their loot:)) Rocket Launcher, LR, Aks, High qual armour, explosive ammo. Will be using this design again:DDDDD

I updated the base with a small and tight stone compound around it, 5 Turrets, 3 big furnace, 1xoilraf. And 2x mobile raid notifier and wow.. i'm in love.
I also tried to do honeyc. Around it with only triangels, but it was after that just to expensive to build.

pretty cool base and pretty fun to build, I thought there was no tc until I watched again but I built mine with a better tc placement.

I don't get why rust build are so symmetrical.
Its a game. Make them guess a little. Build a looooong hallway with many doors, sure, build up, build down, build a tower, build a castle with a moat, make it fun, make it so it looks like a modern house, have a garage next to it for your car. Build with friends, make a happy little road and neighborhood.
