I agree. I think they are actually better live than studio. And that’s as big a tribute that you can give any band. To actually be so good that you can replicate in both sound, quality and precision, something that you have no second chance with, unlike in a studio, means that they are as close to perfection as is humanly possible. I often call them "clockwork Lovebites", and Haruna (drums) I respectfully call "Ms. Metronome". 😄 Only on the foundation of their precision, their masterpieces are possible at all, in my opinion. I like the music video for Winds of Transylvania a tad better than the live version, but they slap live. Their live production is flawless as is their playing live. It really sounds they are in the studio with their lives. Pretty amazing if you ask me.

I am cycling back to this to say Thank You. My introduction to them a couple of months ago was joining you on your introduction to them with you reaction to Holy War. It didn't take me very long to decide that after 50+ years of listening to metal, Lovebites has become my all time favorite band. You have reacted to three great songs. Miyako's tone on her Dean is awesome. Break the Wall is Slayer-esque in heels, only better. Thrash is my favorite sub genre. Love Exodus, Megadeth, Slayer, etc. Love all metal - Meshuggah, Metal Church, Power Trip, and so SO many more across all genres of metal. I've only given the distinction of calling a band my all time favorite three times. First was Zeppelin when I heard The Immigrant Song when I was 11 (1971). Took around two decades until Opeth became my favorite. Now two decades after that, Lovebites. Sometimes it's simple to say a song or band is a favorite. It's complex with Lovebites. The guitarist using the Dean guitar is Miyako and she pretty much only uses only Dean guitars. She is also if I am not mistaken the founder of Lovebites and the main composer as well.
For this 2021 concert, Miyako (the one with the Dean guitar) was a couple months pregnant. You can tell because she is wearing flats rather than her usual stiletto heels. And Lovebites just finished the open bass auditions so we should be hearing next month or maybe July who is the new bassist for the band.

Oh, yeah! Set the world on fire! I think this is my favourite Lovebites song. And you are right - for me live versions is cooler than studio versions! Of course studio version of a song is really cool but when you are listening live version of it - you gonna love it more. I think now you have to check out another side of their music. Howzit Man! Love your enthusiasm. This band kills almost any other on live performances. Helped by the excellent technical production of the live videos - they use the same Finnish studio as Nightwish for video production and sound mix, and it shows. I have three of their Blu rays and the standard increases with each one. I think you've already pegged Swan Song with Miyako shredding Chopin on piano for a reaction; may I also suggest A Frozen Serenade which is a modern day rock masterpiece. Cheers mate from Australia.

If you are thinking “how is that possible?!”, just trust everyone that is mentioning it - it is. Current darlings are Nemophila, you won’t be wanting for shredding, talent or quality of their music. Yeah, our Queens ( Godesses).. Both Asami and Miyako (darkhaired guitarist) got married during last summer and Miyako was 4 months pregnant during that show, thats why she is not on heels.. This is not supporting this amazing band at all, plus I will say this as well, when and if you go to a concert a real live concert you are not going to get the same sound as you are with this recording. For the sake of a reaction video, it's far more entertaining to react to a live gig rather than an audio version. This is in no way shape or form a substitute for the studio version. I myself have all the tracks I've reacted to (studio versions) loaded on my Spotify Playlist that I jam in my car and in gym every day! It's brilliant and it pumps me up! They're simply amazing! I have had several people thank me for introducing them to this band and that is my goal with my reaction videos..introducing people to a band they've never heard of and by doing this, adding to their fan base which results in supporting the band. The guitarist using the Dean guitar is Miyako and she pretty much only uses only Dean guitars. She is also if I am not mistaken the founder of Lovebites and the main composer as well.
Apparently she is sponsored by Dean. Or so I've heard. That's pretty awesome if it's true, which I'm sure it is! 😁🤘✌️🙏
For this 2021 concert, Miyako (the one with the Dean guitar) was a couple months pregnant. You can tell because she is wearing flats rather than her usual stiletto heels.
And Lovebites just finished the open bass auditions so we should be hearing next month or maybe July who is the new bassist for the band.

Oh, yeah! Set the world on fire! I think this is my favourite Lovebites song. And you are right - for me live versions is cooler than studio versions! Of course studio version of a song is really cool but when you are listening live version of it - you gonna love it more.
I think now you have to check out another side of their music. More melodic and harmonic. Such as "Edge of the world" or "Frozen Serenade".

Howzit Man! Love your enthusiasm. This band kills almost any other on live performances. Helped by the excellent technical production of the live videos - they use the same Finnish studio as Nightwish for video production and sound mix, and it shows. I have three of their Blu rays and the standard increases with each one.
I think you've already pegged Swan Song with Miyako shredding Chopin on piano for a reaction; may I also suggest A Frozen Serenade which is a modern day rock masterpiece.

LOVEBITES are indeed awesome, they are the perfectionists of the genre for sure, but don’t let that stop you going further into the rabbit warren - there are many more J-Metal bands and some of them are equally, or more, awesome. If you are thinking “how is that possible?!”, just trust everyone that is mentioning it - it is. Current darlings are Nemophila, you won’t be wanting for shredding, talent or quality of their music. There are more, many, more. Enjoy!

Everyone of their songs has a totally different vibe/style, but all are great! BTW, love you EC reactions... greetings from Germany.

Yeah, our Queens ( Godesses).. Both Asami and Miyako (darkhaired guitarist) got married during last summer and Miyako was 4 months pregnant during that show, thats why she is not on heels.. No body exept the band knows why Miho left the band, exept that it was for personal reasons.. With love from Sweden..

Not you too, if you start pushing this concept then people are not going to buy their albums, this is way to negative in my opinion. I have been asking everyone to stop spreading this crap. This is not supporting this amazing band at all, plus I will say this as well, when and if you go to a concert a real live concert you are not going to get the same sound as you are with this recording. I am a huge fan of Lovebites and have boughten all of their EP's and albums and everyone who claims such bullcrap is a liar. Come over here where I live and jump in my car and be ready to be blown away with the studio audio version of the songs.
Hey Sal. I see where you're coming from and we are definitely all allowed our opinions! For the sake of a reaction video, it's far more entertaining to react to a live gig rather than an audio version. This is in no way shape or form a substitute for the studio version. I myself have all the tracks I've reacted to (studio versions) loaded on my Spotify Playlist that I jam in my car and in gym every day! It's brilliant and it pumps me up! They're simply amazing!
I have had several people thank me for introducing them to this band and that is my goal with my reaction videos..introducing people to a band they've never heard of and by doing this, adding to their fan base which results in supporting the band. The add revenue for the reaction video on TH-cam goes to the publishers / band, not to me so that is also a way of supporting the band.
I have become a huge fan of this band and I personally will and do support them. This is merely for entertainment and sharing the wonderful excitement that this amazing band brings to us all!
