Excellent Review GB I've been waiting to get your thoughts on the XP Pro ... looking forward to the range review as well you are the man brother have a safe trip
I have the same exact issue with my pistol during reassembly, not sure it's design or requires learning a trick to put it back together, mine shoots great and love it, had to send it back to Fusin arms for some extractor adjustment but also placed an order for their XFIRE model after seeing your video, $320 shipped from sportsman outdoor, can't beat it..... Thank you for honest reviews(safe travels).
This one is more interesting to me than a SA Platypus, since the frame is more of a standard 2011 ish setup. Definitely wasn’t interested when I first heard the announcement but it’s growing on me a little, hoping I can find one to put my hands on
The first gun is soooo well made and reliable...I love mine, considering buying a few more..I naturally love all metal firearms, having the extra weight is more comfortable for me when drawing and firing...
@GBGuns I am so glad to see that you have obtained this firearm because I have been seeing first look and first shots videos pop up all over the place the past couple weeks. That said none of those videos really compare it to any of the other "2011" styled pistols in its price range which has left me curious. I had begun to set my sights on getting the MAC 9 DS which is the same MSRP as this but now that I seen this I am wondering if this wouldn't be money better spent due to the availability of several different capacity magazines and for dirt cheap compared to the 2011 magazines. So I will be anxious to see the shooting impressions.
@@killacoiler1707 As I'm sure you've noticed from my other reviews. I publish the full review first on my site (including both videos). Check the pinned comment.
The more I look at this pistol I cannot help comparing it to the Bul Armory EDC an TAC 4.25. The features are very similar. I really want to get my hands on one of these for first-hand inspection. At the MSRP listed I will probably wind up buying one in the next six months.
@@WeekendMarksmanNCA I will alwways respect the impact Glock made on the industry (even if through less-savoriy means), but as a company they've really not done much since the 1990s and as a result have really fallen behind. Are they still valid? Yes. Still a goo product? Yes. In touch with what consumers want and need or fairly priced? No.
@@GBGuns Agreed they can't even put a decent trigger or sights on their guns. Their dependable and reliable, but every ones caught up to them in that regards while being cheaper and/or having more to offer.
I'm pretty sure I've heard from Fusion that it has an aluminum frame with polymer grip panels and a steel slide and trigger, not an all steel frame. $1,100 for a full steel 2011... thingy, would be pretty nice though.
It looks like it's going to be a decent gun, I'd like to see a comparison with the Apollo 11. I'm leaning towards buying an Apollo 11(made in America, and now they sell ported barrels), but I do have lots of glock mags which makes the XP a good choice.
I've been leaning towards the apollo 11 but those 2011 mags put me off...i have plenty of glock mags also and have been waiting for so thing like the xp pro. Now if the apollo 11 were to take glock mags I would change my mind

@driftitlikeyouownit I've come to question/doubt companies that shy away from a GBGuns review, and found that most of the time companies open to a GBGuns review do so bevause they know they have a good gun.
Those windows cuts are reducing reciprocating mass where it makes the biggest difference in handling under recoil. You'll see the affect in the pinned comment
@GBGuns not at all. The pentagonal styling that you were saying reduced your ability to rack the slide forward of the breech, has far more effect on reducing reciprocating mass, than 2 square CM being removed from the slide. Let's face it... Those window cuts were done for aesthetics.
You aren't familiar with Fusion? I own four of their 1911s and they are tight and all parts are made from tool steel (no MIM or cast). For the money, they are some of the best US-made 1911s!
I knew of the company, but had never interracted with them. I can't afford to buy everthing seen on the channel, so am dependent on companies cooperating with me, and then when I buy I buy from companies that have worked with me. Hence since Fusion never sent anything previous, no Fusion has been on the channel.
Looks like you started off the video with the Ermox X-Fire, then went to the Fusion XP-Pro..... What is the difference between the Ermox X-Fire and the Fusion XF Pro ("XF") model. To me, the price is cheaper on the Ermox X-Fire, and the only other difference is the slide cuts are on top for X-Fire model, but on the sides for the XF-Pro (and more expensive coming thru Fusion direct. Note: that I am not referring to the Fusion XP-Pro model at all.
Lol, no. I've been fighting TH-cam about "constructing a firearm" for years. I include chapter markers so you can skip ot if you want, and include the review in the pinned comment of you want to stop wasting time on videos and get to the facts.

Your cat clearly LOVES Glock pattern magazines
I know. I've tried explaining to her that they are an inefficient design that requires a larger grip diameter than necessary
Excellent review as always! I love that this gun has so much attention to detail. Great gun.

If they made a 5-in version of a gun I would buy it in a heartbeat
I heard it was coming
Get comp.
Im waiting for the clearly coming ported version
That's one talkative kitty. Always fun 😂

awesome looking pistol. Definitely my style. Hope shoots well
What an awesome firearm. I hope to come across one in the future. Great features. Excellent review.

@MarvinTurner-oc4ml Aside from the mags, the biggest difference is the weight as this uses an aluminum grip and steel frame.
I can't find a Bul Armory in stock for the life of me.
@DazdnCofuzd I've outlined the process in the articles.
Looks great. Love it
Glock needs to create their own “2011” that takes Glock mags.
It's taken Glock 4 decades to add and remove finger grooves. Don't hold your breath.
@ 😂 One can dream…

The Fusion website says the grip module is Aluminum can you confirm it is steel or is it aluminum?
Gorgeous

It is a bar steel slide with aluminum frame, aluminum grip. No mim parts and the only polymer part is the mag release.
I need those mags! NJ 10 rd bound

Curious what are you doing here in Finland?
Terve! I was in Finland to help a company exhibit. I enjoyed my time there.
When not shooting, two or more can get together and use the magwells for an old game of catch LOL.
I hope this becomes compliant in CA.
Good looking gun. The window cuts on the front of the slide are ridiculous, but the gun, overall, appears to be well-refined

@shaunn7778 they're actually coming out with a ported barrel soon so the window cute are necessary for anyone that wants to swap to a ported barrel.

Does anyone make metal Glock style mags?
18:56 shows an integrated plunger tube.
I believe the grip module is aluminum.
Excellent video, what is the price?
YpuTube censorship prevents me from mentioning prices. Full details are in the pinned comment.
I give it 3 paws
Looks like a good 2011, Tac kitty 😅
Watch your reassembly part, you were just a tad off with slide when first putting release in.
Yup, it's not easy doing this while looking through a camera with my arms extended a couple of feet in front of me.
You sound under the weather hope feel better if you are happy holiday
Does GB guns go to Highline Firearms in Newberg? The have good prices, a great selection and some nice people working there. Just curious?
I've never been in there but have been impressed with how much they spend on advertising

What is the Retail price

Depending upon price I have to have one.

bore axis really is oversold; a Sig 226 has a pretty high one and I shoot those better than anything besides my own personal Beretta 92
Agreed!
Mag release not reversible, the finish looks bubbly by hammer , I don’t believe its worth $1100 yet see how it shoots

It's odd to me when a company makes a $100 shotgun and an 1100 pistol.
