Is there a reason to keep Molt on her? I never understood what the point of it was even with its augment. Is it worth ever using in this build or is it just there because Nourish is a good replacement for her 4th?
I like it because it strips you of status effects and give you a speed boost which is really nice. Because gas can bypass shields being able to get rid of the gas status is really helpful. It suppose it is not really necessary, just increases qol
Yea, essentially its a status cleanse, speed up and is a cheap way of shield gating with no cast time, and the clone takes heavy aggro so it helps you get your shields back up because most enemies focus it instead of you, so yea really good for survivability, but takes a bit to get use to, the reason why her 4 is because with the low range its essentially useless on this build, so its perfect for the helminth :)
I personally like running gloom over her second with a max range build, spread her spores with gloom active and it's infinite healing, the only time I've been downed is enemies that can deal more damage than your total health otherwise you insta heal, so I also use the blue archons for max health in her other 3 slots

Died in the first few moments...loaded late into the middle of a ton of Eximus. Started again with the team from the start. Was able to build the over shields off the bat. Halfway through everyone died but me. I ended up solo finishing. GREAT Build!
I really don’t understand why you have the venom dose mod instead of using her most powerful ability - her 1. It’s her superpower, especially now with the emerald shards! That is constantly ramping corrosive, both damage and procs, on virtually the entire map if you are doing it correctly. Add some more range rather than venom dose. At least this is true if you are using her on SP level missions where there is sufficient spore fodder. I guess using her on the regular star chart tends, as with several other warframes, to level the advantage of that superpower. But if you use her 1 and try to keep it up as much as possible at the end of any mission, no matter how hard you think you are destroying with weapons, you will see the her ability kills will usually be 70-90% of the total kills. Weapons, even really good ones, become mostly spore management and utility tools. Spores are her main thing, and you don’t appear to even be using them! As a side note, generating nearly constant overshields with the Rakta makes cascadia overcharge viable and easy, because you know, with Saryn all you have to worry about are the acolytes, and for a lot of people that means a crit-based secondary specialized for the task. A nice synergy - you don’t need to sweat building up anything, just whip the secondary out at the last moment and end the acolyte with one or two shots!
@@zaighamimran1370 I wasn’t implying that is does, only that it is entirely unnecessary when you are using spores, and probably just inferior to alternative mods in that case - like more range to help the spores spread. It’s no contest in high density situations, and in low density situations it doesn’t matter much either way. Spores are a KPM superpower if used correctly. Anything they touch is doomed, even at the other side of the map.
@markmillonas1896 the 100% corossive damage is a significant buff. And the spores take time to ramp up and can't strip armor as fast as a weapon with corossive procs can. The augment is just much more reliable. No steps or requirements needed to armor strip the enemy infront of you other than just shooting it. At higher levels the spores are really not needed when you have the augment. People start playing saryn for her 1 and 4. They stay for her 3.
@@holmangao1027 I’m aware of how it works, but when everything is ramped up you are armor stripping the whole room with spores and killing everything in a couple of spore ranges away in seconds, and before you even get a chance to shoot them. Killing just what is in front of you faster is maybe helpful if you feel like your survivability is a little lacking, or if you are in a full group and don’t have the full pool of spore fodder, I suppose. But of course the spores aren’t going to work if you have completely removed the range.
Ah, ok I’m seeing it now from your build. No range, so of course you are missing it. Even if you tried your 1 it would just be a wash with no range. Since you are spending so much time on Saryn try a serious spore build before you move on. First, loose rolling guard. You already have molt, one of the best status cleaners in the game. Drop in extra shields in that slot if you want to double down on both shield and overshields from the Rakta. With a spore build literally the only thing you need is survivability while you auto nuke everything. So the Rakta is one nice component of that. But you NEED range to get a spore build working well. I like about a 190ish, strength, 190ish range for this. Arcane energize and equilibrium are one way to take care of all your energy needs, even with a 45 efficiency. Saryn has a very controllable, predictable energy use and everything is refreshable early if your energy is maxed. And it doesn’t hurt that spores are probably the highest sustained kpm in the game, so tons of deaths and ton of drops. Cast your 3 and plan on refreshing it when the time comes, then your 1 on a mob. Whack that mob with the melee then start moving. With enough range half the tile will light up with corrosive procs immediately. So for example, in solo SP Circulus try to find a place where you can make a big circle that repeats - if not just keep moving until you do. Back and forth on a repeating route will also work in a pinch. Keep an eye on the infected counter and before it gets too low use your 1 again on an uninfected mob in your path. Don’t really worry about or focus on the ordinary mobs, even the eximus units. They are toast, just focus on your spores. You goal is try to keep the infected number from going to zero and otherwise as high as you can manage. While that is working your corrosive procs on every single infected mob will be ticking up, and the spore damage will be ramping up. In a place like SP Circulus, right at the beginning before the mob level ramps up, the damage due to the spores is going to ramp up to about 3000-5000, possibly higher, very quickly, until it get to the level that the spores alone are killing everything pretty fast. But the longer you stay in mission and the higher the level the mobs are the higher that number will tend to go. Before leveling out. This is why neither power or weapon damage per se, while helpful, matters much in a spore build. Eventually you may be a victim of your own success and the mobs will die TOO fast, you will loose your infection counter and the spore damage will drop. Just rinse and repeat. Everything will be dying, faster than ANY weapon could kill them, and all over the place, so all you need is survivability and mobility. The Rakta helps both the the extra shield and though the melee influence spreading the spores. Helminths like gloom on her 4 are a huge survivability help, and so on. Also hounds or other companions that spread cold and radiation procs everywhere add to the survivability. And the radiation helps with the Rakta. Actually a few cold procs on top of gloom and the mobs will be virtually standing still.😂 Sorry if this is old news for a lot of people. I just find it weird when people forget about how OP spores are. I guess unlike most frames Saryn is also a pretty good pure weapons platform, so you can get distracted. But she is still an enhanced weapons platform even when being used as originally designed, with spores.
@@magenta5547 Obviously. But the point is spores by itself already gives you unlimited, automatically scaling corrosive procs and damage across the whole map, so I don’t understand why anyone would build Saryn to JUST add more corrosive to weapons while completely nerfing that super strong ability itself, firstly by never using it, and secondly by cranking the range down to a minimum. It’s a bit like carrying around a powerful shotgun, and only ever slamming its butt into things to do damage.
@@MarkoBotsarisKind of agree here, Spores are extremely powerful and more or less Saryn's signature ability. They're just too good to pass on completely as this build does - which IMHO it really wouldn't need to. @@manuelcervini3822 I never implied you couldn’t take the best ability nuke frame, with by far the most kpm potential in the whole game and turn it into a mere weapons platform. If that is what you want, go for it. But an explanation of how that would work is not required.
