46:40 hey, you are still spot on. It's inspired by Jihyo's neglect of her cactus, Ang, but I've seen some people try to say that that's all it's about, as if Jihyo wasn't also writing about something a lot of people actually feel at times.
Personally I think Jihyo is singing about herself. The more you know about her, the more it makes sense. She has some struggles with negativity and being very hard on herself. She holds herself to an unreal standard as the leader who leads by example, and that can dry you out. Everyone in Twice is very close, but as the leader, Jihyo is the link between the members and management and the group respects her in that role, but the downside is it puts a separation between you and the other members, and there are times when you can see that she feels it. She also struggles with a temper at times, something Nayeon and Jeongyeon tease her about. But she's often the first to cry, which is the water down deep beneath the prickly outside. She's also said that she doesn't feel they she's reached her goals and won't really feel free until after Twice.
Anyway, sorry for the essay, but you're not the only one who think Cactus is about more than just a dried out cactus. 😄

In this fourth tour they also perform Rewind, Real You, and Espresso. I highly recommend to check it out either in reaction video or on your own. Momo is really iconic during the Rewind performance.
And a little spoiler if you wanna catch up to their current fifth tour setlist. Since you already listen to Ready to Be, Between 1&2, and FOL albums. Listen to all their title track (I recommend in chronological order to see their growth) + Eyes Wide Open album.

Jus found ur reactions, and man, i can't even imagine how Jihyo was feeling during that cactus performance, yes it was for her dead cactus but like, her best friend for a looooooonggg time, Jeongyeon, just went through so much stuff that she had to take a hiatus, and she's not on stage with them, and you just hear the recorded parts of her singing save me? Goodness man, I'm glad she's back bro, Jeonghyo friendship is da goat ❤

I remember watching that cactus performance at the time.. Jeongyeon was on hiatus nd they were performing without her due to her anxiety and personl issues.. so I was already emotional as is, but then I see Jihyo getting emotional too and I just had tears flooding.. I still believe till this day Jeongyeons absense really had Jihyo feeling Cactus and Rewind when they performed it.

The 4th world tour was so special especially for jeongyeon because she was just over her hiatus due to anxiety and health issues. Anyway you should watch their concert in US. Totally different vibes

The "ready to be" concert is legendary. The setlist is great, and there are many interesting attempts. Seoul's kspodome is a large venue, but it is smaller than the stadium in the world. This concert is seen as a stadium-oriented composition, and I hope you don't get any spoilers. Good luck bro.

The Catctus is one of the most emotional song get me near cry every time I hear it... Even Jihyo and Tzuyu cry during this song. Jihyo gets "infected" as she see Tzuyu... Jeongyeon tries to distract Jihyo but to no avail. 🥲 💙 You can see that it's not out of sadness, it's just pure emotion because they're laughing about it but they can't get over it. 💙 🥲
Actually u were right about your cactus explanation in your 1st reaction, even though Jihyo used her dead cactus as inspiration she said that it's more of a metaphor & every listener can interpret the song as they feel;

Someone said this before about 1,3,2 but I can't help but share about what this song means. It said that this song has not only the meaning of dancing but the idea that in love/relationship, there's always one person that are "faster", and one that is "slower" (off-beat).
The one who is faster is the one that falls in love first, "should've followed your tempo" means to be slower in being in love so 1,3,2 is a metaphor about dancing to the rhythm of that of being in a relationship but feeling in love strongly first causing to be ''offbeat' which causes that person to fall (get hurt).

"Cactus" is a song that I listen to a lot when I feel like I'm not doing a good enough job as a role model to my younger siblings (I'm the eldest lol) or just not enough in general.
Awww Don't ever feel like that. Being a true Role Model is Being a Realistic Person in Today's Society. We all have bad days and days when we feel like We don't want to do alot or anything at all. @@justpat2316 They're amazing, no? Jihyo is really that one who gets easily emotional during their concerts. I'm guessing it's because performing is literally her whole life. This girl has been in this since she was 8 years old. Man, you should check out Sixteen too. There was a whole speech Jihyo said there (I think on the first episode) that made me cry.
I definetely think Cactus has a deeper meaning, and the cactus thing is just a way to express it.

You should laugh right back at all the onces that made fun of you over cactus, nobody knew that Cactus was about an actual cactus not even many of the members themselves until Jihyo revealed it in an interview with the group and they were surprised as well, well at least some were. Twice had a Halloween special where they dress up and this past year she dressed up as a Cactus, i think it was Halloween... maybe it was somthing else... nevermind you get what i mean - LOL
