Nah, he’s the kingmaker of games in the same way that Merlin is the kingmaker of knights. If it wasn’t for him then we’d never have gotten the king of games and we’re all grateful for it.
Why hasn’t this been made in a special anime like after the last episode of season one give like a year after the event this duel happens. How cool would that be.
@@attentionduelists totally it would not be hard to create one short episode of this battle we see little yugi all grown up facing off against his Grandfather how special would that be yugi never dueled Grandpa so this would be a first grandpa may be old but he’s very knowledgeable especially with Exodia
You know… Solomon never said that he *wasn’t* cursed for destroying the Kuribohs. Maybe some of those added zeros were attempts to make the curse go to Yugj and not him. 🤔 Regardless, this duel was SO COOL! This is the second time we’ve seen Solomon show his skill as Yugi’s mentor and unlike his duel with Joey he freaking *won!* Sure, this takes place after Atem was sealed away and I’m confident that Yugi *hasn’t actually surpassed him, but that’s still a major accomplishment. Not to mention seeing these two use modern cards based on their old decks. 🤩 * Just because Atem was the better duelist doesn’t mean that Yugi winning was a fluke. He came up with an amazing plan to defeat the Egyptian Gods and proved that he could stand on his own. That he didn’t need the Pharaoh to be an amazing duelist. Also, for what it’s worth, I’m confident that Atem allowed himself to lose after Monster Reborn was negated like that. He had five cards, his normal summon, the ability to choose his cards with sheer willpower and he didn’t do anything to defend himself? Even though Kuriboh was still in his deck? He only held back one turn and might’ve lost anyway (you don’t need to be better to have a chance of winning, after all) but my point stands. 😅And sorry about the tangent that seemingly takes away from Solomon’s win. I was initially just giving a fun fact but got carried away. Besides, this was still an incredible achievement. Yugi legitimately made did beat Atem when the Pharaoh had most of their best cards and surpassed his limits during their duel. He proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he could stand on his own and even Kaiba acknowledged his skills. On another note it’s hilarious how Dan Green looks so much older than Wayne Grayson. 🤣
@@WDinATX haha I love it. Ya all that Grey gives the illusion he’s older than he is. I’m still surprised how much he can still have a natural range for little Yugi! Feel free to sub for more nostalgia fun! Thanks for watching.
