My high school coach had an Australian Shepherd that he would bring to every practice. He had a rule that if the dog ever got possession of the baseball, the team had to run a mile. We hated that dog.
yeah, I think that stuff has some value when it's a lack of focus or kids arent behaving, not so much when its just making physical errors when theyre trying their best
I learned bye leaving a team in negative way how people saw me .. walking off the field in middle of game was bad decision but it was literally a blowout an out someone in to pitch that literally throw 100 feet in air I walked to many people so that was why an I had enough of favoritism
👋 Dan. I'm a 14u assistant coach who focuses more on hitting with my kids. I'm super curious about what specific hitting technique you might have been referring to at the 16:30 mark when talking about the technique that the coach was teaching that no pro player actually does. I feel like I might know, but I'm really really curious. Thanks
I’m in rec league for adult baseball so kinda for fun so should I be really listening when there I guess they have limited to experienced we don’t practice everyday maybe 1 week then a game on every Sunday .. most of my coach’s where last in league in standings .. I’m on a team now that won championships an is in second league in playoffs right now .. we didn’t get along an hated each other know we cool I left the two lower teams in negative way .. so when does record matter for good coaches ?

My son's baseball coach makes the kids run the field when they make a mistake. Not really effective, just slows down practice and lowers morale.

Heard of a coach who made the pitchers run poles for every walk that was given! Not the catcher, not the ump, just the pitchers!!

The hands being the first thing that moves in the swing.
