So great to have stumbled upon your channel! I was the owner of N15152 from 2010 through 2015 I and it is great to see it still flying! Lots of fun flying memories come back watching these videos. As an A&P I also poured lots of sweat and tears maintaining and upgrading it.
When you said you were landing at KONX, I thought that unless you had a boat to take you across the sound from some place like Barco, you were looking at another hour and a quarter drive down and around up to Corolla. I wonder if they will ever get that bridge built. That would make life easier, wouldn’t it?
Very nice looking flight! I wonder if I have missed some of your videos recently, as this one seemed like a big step up in terms of editing and general polish of the storytelling. Or was it just the beautiful sunset lighting? Looking forward to the next part(s) in any case!

Yeah about 55 minutes, the same time from Manteo airport. ONX is by far the better option. And yes - the bridge will be a game changer!
Great video. You’re killing it with the channel and the podcast. Keep it up!!
Thanks Marty!!
Good video! Nice flight!
Thanks a lot!
Great video, I like Cecilia's comment about flying to OBX is an extension of the fun part of the trip. She may have been bitten by the bug!
For sure! She loves it!
Gorgeous work, Chris, both in the plane and the studio! Hope to catch you all on some trips in the future.
Beautiful sunset landing at the end! Glad to see other pilots using flight following.
Every flight, without fail.
I just happened across this video, good content! I also don't see much aviation content from WV! I used to work at CKB as a controller!
No eating in my airplane. Ha Ha
I remember you being a little hesitant to fly solo. how has that changed from first solo, to now?
Great job! Is it me or does the Cherokee seem more like riding on a wing rather than dangling from the 172?
I do think it is a nicer ride for sure. Some of that is weight, but the low wing is growing on me.
