Wow. Great riding, Josh. Consistently maintaining traction on those fast, loose corners is very impressive. What width tires and what pressure were you running?
Thanks man! The gimbal is feiyu tech wg2x with a go pro 7 , the normal settings for a go pro are pretty wide. I shoot 1080 with stabilizer in the camera as well, I still think using a gimbal gets better footage than just a go pro so I’ll stick with that until the go pro gets a little better.
Cool to have met you man (camping neighbors). Forgot to ask, how do you fuel throughout these sort of races? What do you eat/drink and how often etc? What was your avg speed for the loop?
Hey Frank, it was a pleasure hanging out with you guys, super fun! I use Infinit Nutrition, it’s an all in one performance drink so I’m getting all my electrolytes and calories in my bottle. I was doing about a bottle every lap, a little bit les in the beginning. That’s about 250-280 calories per lap and I’ll supplement that with honey stinger gels and chews when needed. My average for the entire race was 11.3 MPH.
Wow. That is such a curvy course. Looks fun.
Super fun course and great mountain biking in El Paso in general.
The trail, the views! ❤
Congrats on the win! And thanks for sharing the video.
Awesome job, man! Looks like a fun place to ride…for maybe two hours for me😂

Thanks Ross, I was running a 2.35 recon race in the front 22psi. Icon 2.2 in the rear 24 psi. Both maxxis tires.
@@joshtostado6365 Excellent. Thanks, Josh.
What tire combo you are using
I had a maxxis Aspen in the front and a maxxis Recon race in the rear.
Great job man! What gimbal are you using? GoPro? Wide lens?
Your 1st lap was fast AF...can't believe you held that up for another 12 hours!

Great stuff! What bike are you riding?
I’m riding a Santa Cruz Blur version 3, last VPP version.
