@@overthetop040411 It really depends on your body type. I am 175lbs and 6' even and I have the XS size to fit under a shirt. It's really tricky to get it right. If you try it on and it doesn't fit you can send it back in. They're really good about customer service.
I also am in between sizes I’m 6’2 180 and it says medium but I’m in between a medium and large. I ordered a large but if yours is XS should I change to medium? Thanks man!
@@alexanderthegreat5231 The sizing really depends on how concealable you want it to be. This is completely slicked out except for the tourniquets I run underneath it. XS still shows through the shirt but it just makes you a little "bigger". If you went with a medium I think that'll be ok, the flaps will come around a little more and you'll have that side coverage. I hope that helps!
It looks good if I was security I’d just wear my plate carrier. You could see the imprints way less with your shirt untucked . It seems nice for regular people
Guys, just putting this out there, the tactical vest is the best thing ever, IDK why people criticize SLD so much, but when you combine this vest with the scorpion hard mag pouches, it is amazing, it feels clean, flexible, comfortable, it just needs to be adjusted correctly, and with the belt, don't even get me started. It is unbelievably comfortable.
I certainly agree. And also I cannot get a good fit after exchanging 2 times and it's just ridiculous. If it were not for seeing how well these vest hold up, I would definitely return. I'm one of those people who can't say CONCEALED unless I have on a big coat.
Hey! Honestly I'm sorry to say it's impossible to find your size based on the info they give you. I just lined it up the best I could. They're really good with returns. I got a medium and I am 6' 180lbs. I hope that helps!
I purchased the level III only. They do offer a level III+ for $100 more. I personally wanted to test out the size and fit first and I was on a budget. Safe life also offers hard plate inserts that can slide into these to increase to "level IV" protection.
For me doesn’t fit well like on you it does. My breast muscle are kinda little big, even i not being what you could call fit, and this makes me look like my chest is a square box, too boxy, i would have to only wear jacket on top or maybe buy some armor clothings
You gather some money from donations and then buy a new one for you, and this one you’ve been using do some tests shooting it, just basics calibers 12 gauge slug will probably possibly kill someone just by the impact but just a test for penetration, then 9mm and maybe 44 magnum.
Personally I've seen many tests on this same vest, NIJ standard really doesn't matter to me. I trust it with my life. I'm sure the cost would go higher if NIJ had to test it, etc..

This is the 3A+. It is a bit more than 3A but more protection

Not really necessary. There are already tests done on TH-cam with the exact same vest (free field training)....as I mentioned in the video.

Makes no sense to carry a turniquet with a inside vest if you going to rock a shirt on top
The shirt is easily lifted and you can grab it if you need it. I don't wear any external gear and my only other option would be an ankle kit.

They are NIJ Certified, since 08-23-18. Through Oregon Ballistic Laboratories, which is a NIJ certified institution.
