Thanks for the reaction "yokubou~". As you have surmised, the video of taka as a teenager is from when he was in a major entertainment agency to which he belonged.
He made his major debut there, but left the entertainment agency because he was bullied, cheated by adults and his parents divorced, which didn't work out mentally.
So once he was on a great stage, but the curtain closed. But then he met the members of one ok rock and the curtain of his life opened again, the song says.
In the song, "I got what money can't buy," i.e., the members. Later in the song, he said that he saw a lot of dirty parts of adults in his former firm and his heart was broken, as he says, "Don't let them cheat you this time."
Taka developed his rebellious spirit from the real world lies he experienced as a teenager.
Taka said himself that he owes his voice the way it is today to his parents.
He replied that his high-pitched voice is his mother's and his raspy voice is his father's.

Aww. ☺️ He definitely made the right move in finding his band mates and friends. Some of those agencies are so toxic… thanks for watching 😊😊

Not all was well for one ok rock after that.
Once again there were obstacles. A band member had a scandal and left the band. A tie-up song for a TV drama had also been set, but that too was gone. Fearing that the Japanese media would pick up on the scandal and draw attention to his parents, Taka mistakenly told his parents.
The first song of the new one ok rock, now with four members, is "kanzen kankaku dreamer".Japanese fans love this song. They know that they have overcome difficult times.
This song is often sung as an encore at their concerts in Japan. ☺️

It would've been awesome to see you ladies also react to the 2020 Field of Wonder version as well. Field of Wonder was a Livestream concert they did during the pandemic, but instead of doing a small live concert like other bands, they played in a baseball stadium. Taka thought of everything they did, like using the entire stadium, putting lights on every seat, having one concert on the middle of the stadium and another on one side. They played this song while sitting up in the stands. Even though they played it the same way it sounded completely different because of the crowd. It sounds so much fuller because they're not alone since the crowd is clapping along. All you hear in the Field of Wonder version is the echo of the instruments and Taka singing, so you get this feeling of loneliness.
One incredible part of this show that you should react to is when they played a medley of songs where they play about 7. you may only know of 2 songs, but i can only see people requesting maybe 2 songs, mainly One Way Ticket. Though if/when you do it you should react to a second version that is a fan cam from 2018 Summer Sonic fest. Mike Shinoda from Linkin Park performs it with them. He actually helped them write the song. Unless you but the BD/DVD, which i suggest, You can find the show on El Cechos Santos channel. Sadly He separated each song so you'd have to load up each song, but it's truly worth it, they never do something like this. The medley is I Was King · 未完成交響曲 · キミシダイ列車 · One Way Ticket / Clock Strikes · The Last Time · Start Again.

@@LeanAndLooReactTo learn more about the Field of Wonder concert you should watch, or even react to their Flip a Coin documentary. This concert meant so much to Taka that when it was over and a success you could see him break down crying. This is one reason I live Taka, it shows how much he cares about these things, which he did you show mainly for the fans.
And I'm always happy to help. I'll always recommend lesser known songs, mainly from before their Ambitions album. They started to write more pop rock songs. Their typical sound is more like The Beginning than their newer stuff. It's good to know what the older OOR sounds like, that way you'll know what to expect their next album to sound like.

@@Fatalistic_Viking Yeah! Totally agree! We love exploring the entire discography. It’s definitely a must. 💜💜💜 I need to check if we can react to flip a coin. They’d likely block it. If not - we’ll watch it on the weekend. 😊

@@LeanAndLooReact I'd actually be surprised if they didn't block it. Their best concert is almost always blocked as well. The only song on TH-cam that isn't blocked is Taking Off, which has clips from the entire show. It's the one concert I'd suggest reacting to because next to no one requests songs from it. I do know of places other than TH-cam you'd be able to watch it without watermarks, but I'm sure you'd have to add wine yourself to keep it from getting blocked. An easy way to react to any concert is to split it up into 3-4 sessions. Taka always takes 3-4 breaks to talk to the crowd, sadly there aren't any subtitles for those sections. Plus they always do a 3 song acoustic setlist.

@@Fatalistic_Viking true. Actually the blocks haven’t been too bad lately. But we always hold our breath because our reactions can be blocked in Japan. Super frustrating

Taka shows tremendous energy in this video!

The concert is at the Yokohama stadium and it was called The Mighty Long Fall tour. This is one of their most energetic concerts, second only to their Live Special at Nagisaen 2016. Both were a 2 day outdoor venue. Nagisaen's crowd had the most epic crowd to date. Over the 2 days they had 110k people. I know everyone has their own personal preference when it comes to the best live version of a song, but I think this show has some of the best versions that are the most energetic. For example Cry Out and Mighty Long Fall are incredible. They're some of the best examples of Taka's incredible crowd control. Over a dozen circle pits form during each song. You'll also see tens of thousands of people headbanging.

So much time has passed that I feel nostalgic about this song. It's a really fun time watching their reactions.
It's all in Japanese, but it's also nostalgic, so I recommend it.

"Mighty Long Fall" is one of their songs from 35xxxv album. I guess, this was their special concert right after they released Mighty Long Fall mv(?) cmiiw, i didn't follow them back then🥲
For me, your channel is one of my favorites. I love listening your thoughts of OOR guys, especially your interpretations of their lyrics, always successfully make me find more points to appreciate their musicianship. Thank you!
Maybe you should watch their main song in this concert, "Mighty Long Fall", it's 🔥🔥🔥

damn loo, i can't believe someone broke your bird feeder like that, that's so rude?? and for what reason? 😭
if you guys want to listen to a scream heavy song, skyfall featuring the vocalists form coldrain, sim and crossfaith is an absolute banger

(is this me subtly trying to promote coldrain as it's one of my favorite bands? maybeeeee but also it's genuinely a fire performance i promise lol)

I discovered it was the neighbors kids. 😅 I spoke to the kids and they did it again the next day. So I spoke to the parents and they bought me a new feeder and forced the kids to apologize 😂❤️ Poor kids looked like the fear of god was in them as they apologized 😂❤️ I felt kinda sorry for them. Hahaha. 😂
