- DIY Sphere ball on a balloon - Easter egg Macrame idea. You can use this ball as a light pendant cover (hanging lantern) or hanging Easter egg in Macramé style. Step by step Tutorial by Macrame School ©
Materials:
1mm thick Twisted cotton cord.
14 cords ~ 120 cm / 47 inch.
14 cords ~ 100 cm / 39 inch.

Gotta admire the handiwork at the end tucking all those ends in.
As you get to the end, you could put the extra cords inside the square knots, then use a gathering knot at the bottom and have a tassel hanging down. Or leave just enough room for a battery candle, tucked inside the gathering knot so it isn't seen inside the egg.. just the light of it!
Also, add dye to the glue to color the egg. You could do Ombre, or just random dots of color blending in with each other. Red/orange/yellow for fiery eggs, or blue/green/purple for water dragon eggs... or anything really!
Nothin' like a really cute macrame egg! Probably the hardest thing about making this will be trying to balance the balloon so you can knot around it-lol. Thanks for sharing this project with us.

gradually cut off the cords and make a square knots. there it can be seen.. Improvise :) There is nothing difficult

Nice project dear, as usual, but I have a question: How will you insert the bulb of the light when you want to use it? Perhaps should have left an open circle underneath to do that!

insert small LED bulbs with battery / or you can even cut this egg in half and it hold up well :))
@@macrameschool + Thank you for responding! So the glue makes it that hard? perhaps we have to do several coats! I would like to do something bigger for my dining room, so the ideas are there! I guess I will have to incorporate some wire for it to hold, and live a bigger opening underneath to change bulbs when necessary. Have a nice day!
