Jimny is such a beautiful and practical 4x4 SUV, Suzuki India selling strategy is wrong, this is a most dumbest method of selling a lifestyle vehicle, either they should reduce the price or should not change make it stable . This creates confusion among existing owners. Those who are willing to buy at the current price will wait for upcoming offer /discount which will cause for loosing a customer again and creates a bad impression among publics about jimny. The marketing strategy should be changed Or else the story will be similar to nano

Very accurate n to the point analysis. Thanks. I'm one of the first buyers of Jimny in Kolkata. I agree with u that many customers fail to understand Jimny n it's purpose. When Gypsy was available, somehow I couldn't buy it. So, I was waiting eagerly ever since 4th generation Jimny was launched in international market back in 2018. It lost some of its charm when Maruti launched the 5 door version. I wanted the 3 door model.
Now that Maruti is offering huge discounts for survival, I only feel cheated. Looks like Jimny in India will go the Kizashi way. Thanks to Maruti's marketing honchos!! I have 4 Maruti cars in my garage. More reason for feeling let down by Maruti.
Another reason for buying Jimny is it's small footprint ( 5 door is bigger though). I bought Jimny keeping in mind the narrow roads of Darjeeling, Kurseong, Kalimpong area.

Wise words and a wise decision indeed buying this Jimmy at a steal price.... What was supposed to bring in sales numbers turned out to be discounted just because buyers intrest diminished to maintain a steady sales figure they had to bring in discounts... The invicto a hycross rival may also have to go the same route if sales don't peak... Don't know even fortuner is offering some kind of discounts to maintain sales inventory....but fortuner being a fortuner has no real competition in that segment...Nice work👍

Resale value for those who bought it at much higher price has been impacted badly. MSIL needs to provide refund to the customers who bought it earlier. We are feeling cheated. This issue needs to be addressed immediately. Next who knows they will be offering the top spec model at 10 lakh on road. Shameful!

ZETA costed us 10.3lacs Onroad with Alloy Wheels + fog lamps + armrest and thunder edition kit.

Engine is not at all a Suv type... Very low torque. 1.5 lt diesel with SHVS SYSTEM SHOULD BE ADDED
