I loved this. The 1940's are one of the most interesting decades; the War, The great Patriotism, the clothing and hair styles (which I love). The ads for Sanka, Schlitz Beer and Camel CIgs actually remind me of my dad... he used all of them.... but in the 50"s. Grant Wood is one of my favorite artists. Thanks for the very nostalgic visit to the 40's. And your hair looks really great... I wish I could get the top of my hair to curl like that!
