Shalom Shalom!!!! Her humbleness is glorious and gorgeous my beautiful Ofra my sweet lovely Blessed Elohim Yeshua Ruach Elohim and all of us look forward to hearing you Praise Elohim with your beautiful voice in Heaven I humbly pray
Totally in love with Ofra's voice. Ive been listening to her songs since 35 years... absolutely amazing, extremely talented she was. May she rest in eternal peace.❤
I sometimes think that G-d called this angel back from earth to heaven because g-d grew envious of mankind who could listen with all ears and hearts to Ofra Haza. Now I'm envious of G-d!
No doubt that she is amazing and wonderful, I like this song very much and listened again and again and want to listen more, may she rest in peace in haven, love from Pakistan
Lotsa taqqiya here. I only believe a muslim saying "we love all Jews" when they also, in the same statement say "we condemn hamas, hezbollah, & all Muslim terrorism."
I've discovered her songs on youtube only a week ago. I don't understand Hebrew but that doesn't dull the beauty of her songs. They seem so fresh and youthful. I'm sad to know she is dead. Greetings from India.

i am Canadian, and i discovered her because of my father in 1977. i was 5 years old at the time. my dad was a music lover and liked to buy records from around the world. in the eighties, she was quite big with this song in canada. well in Quebec all radios played that song in 1988. i still love her very much. thank you for these videos. this is stuff i had never seen.

Thank you so much for posting this version of the song. On TH-cam, I had seen this version without the introduction, and it was enormously pleasing to discover this extended video. I am Brazilian and, in my ealy youth, I used to dance to the remixed version of this song. But now, at age 47, this version of the song is the most endesring and profound compared to the others. It is uplifting, soothing, and profound at te same time. Thank you very much for posting this video. Shalom!
@@andrewklein5648I am not sure what you mean by your comment, but I am not a typical Brazilian. I consider myself a citizen of the world. And Middle Eastern culture fascinates me. Unfortunately, I have not been able to visit Israel yet, but I do intend to. I have many Jewish and Israeli friends and, in a way, I do consider myself Jewish.
She is Immortal. Ofra Haza is listened to more and RESPECTED more each day. Her Voice is Uniquely used in various remix work. Her greatest days are Ahead. Once a Man experiences the Call of the Siren, it tends to get Stuck in his Mind. Homer warned us in the lliad of Her Song, warned us to watch out. Now it is on TH-cam ! :)
Although I don't understand the word of this song But she sang very amazingly and I listened to it again and again and want to listen more, MAY she Rest in peace in haven, love from Pakistan
Great artists such as Ofra Haza do not die. They become Immortal. I feel confident saying more people listen to Ofra Haza now then ever before. Her voice is among the most common added into 'remixes', particularly techno-trance stuff. Ofra Haza is EVERYWHERE NOW ! As for the rest of us.... yes, each of us is unique, most of us are not special and will accomplish nothing of lasting value and will be forgotten soon after we die and are fully replaceable. :)
Only the Oriental Hebrew accent sounds like Arabic. And sounding similar doesn't mean you can understand it. (Spanish and Greek also sound very similar for example.) Arabs can guess a word of Hebrew here and there, but overall there's no mutual intelligibility.
Я из России. Тоже понравились и мелодия, и голос. Почитал немного про неё… она исполняла песню «Deliver Us”, озвучивая одного из персонажей мультфильма «Принц Египта», на 17 языках.
Oh traveler, though your stay upon the mortal plane will be brief, do you truly understand your own worth? Can you grasp how many people your words, your deeds, and even your voice will touch? Amongst all who have passed through here, all who are present now, or indeed, even amongst those who will pass in the future--there is none like you. Can you grasp this simple truth? When you depart, this world will lose something irreplaceable!
That's just pure beauty, nothing more to say
Yeah..I was in love as a 13-year old little kid since 1985! 🥰
EDIT: this video is from 1978...I never heard of her that time. I was 6!
The only one artist who made me cry when she passed away 😢
Even if I'm a goy from Brussels !
She left the world much too soon. Every American child grew up hearing her emotional vocals in Dreamworks' The Prince of Egypt. Legend.
yep me too.
I heard of her because of Eric B and Rakim's paid in full / seven minutes of madness.
Yes! The prince of Egypt was a very memorable movie from my childhood for me and my sister. The opening song was powerful.
shes yemeni not egyptian
@@palestinabaddie I don't see any comments on here where somebody said she's Egyptian.
