The music from Gilligan's mouth was from Morton Stevens' "So Old, So Young", as someone on this post had already pointed out, but remember that "GILLIGAN'S ISLAND" was shot and filmed at CBS Studio Center, and co-produced and originally released thru United Artists Television. (Turner acquired the rights in 1986, and later, Warner Bros. Entertainment re-acquired the rights to this TV show). "So Old, So Young was also the theme to "THE CBS THURSDAY NIGHT MOVIES" and "THE CBS FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIES", and Stevens, who also composed the "HAWAII FIVE-O" theme for the original series in 1968, also updated the "So Old, So Young" theme with a more vibrant tune in 1971 for "THE CBS LATE MOVIE" and "THE NEW CBS FRIDAY NIGHT MOVIE"

SO OLD, SO YOUNG by Morton Stevens. The same music was used for prime time and late night movie broadcast on the CBS network, which GILLIGAN'S ISLAND was distributed by.

I think you have to be real close to the transmitter/antenna , like right next to it where the signal is really strong.
