You can take flight lessons when you have passed 10th class, but if you want to become a commercial pilot you must first pass 12th class with maths and physics. Maths and physics are compulsory. After you have passed 12th class you are eligible to start the training for a commercial pilot license. Before starting the training first you need to get a Class 2 medical certificate, and you can also start to prepare for the DGCA exams. It is recommended to complete the DGCA exams before you go to a flight school. Before you can start the flight training you also must get your Class 1 medical certificate.

NO after you join a flight school, they will issue an SPL for you, and the duration in flying school depends on many factors, about 2 years on an average

Not much from an interviewers point of view... they decide mainly on you performance in the selection process.. but the quality of school is important because then your basics will be very strong and that will show when you speak in the interview
Hello ali , i am a graduate.... what all documents do i require ... and is there any expiry of the documents like police verification and class 2 medicals .... and in this pandemic situation are the class 2 medicals still working smoothly ..... or is there any other provision to give this medical online ... like submitting the lab reports and everything to the medical person and getting it done online ....if at all there is no class 2 medical officer in the city like in my case .
Irrespective of whether you are graduate or class 12 pass, the documents I specified are required. As for the class 2 Medical, you will need to visit a class 2 empanelled doctor, but the process of getting the assessment from DGCA is online, the doc will let you know

You need to go to a flight school and take a course for a commercial pilot license. You can freely choose the flight school where you want to get your training. Of course, the very first thing is to get an aviation medical examination which is a prerequisite for participating in flight training.
Sir I want to ask that at what perticular time do we have to give our dgca exams of all the 5 subjects directly after 12th or before 12th we can study for it and give it as we are ready for it at any time and medicals should be done before dgca exams or after dgca exams and how we can get to know that when, where and how the exams are being conducted.

After joining, you will receive ground classes for about 1 to 4 weeks... only after that you will give SPL exam

Sir...can I also complete my CPL in just 10 months from TSAA like you...if I clear my all DGCA exams just after my 12th ?????

Sir I want to ask that at what perticular time do we have to give our dgca exams of all the 5 subjects directly after 12th or before 12th we can study for it and give it as we are ready for it at any time and medicals should be done before dgca exams or after dgca exams and how we can get to know that when, where and how the exams are being conducted.
You can give the PPL exams anytime after 10th but CPL license will be issued only after 12th and 18yrs of age
medicals can be done before or after papers, but you cannot fly w/o medicals
