Yes, I love how he takes his time during the entire middle section at 2:24 and slows it down. This allows him to really extract the musicality out of it. Most pianists just power through this section thereby missing a lot of the subtlety.
@@m.a.g.3920 that’s an old comment, and I haven’t listened to this video in a long time, but yes, that’s the only section that’s 3 against 5 in the piece.
@@jtt6650in my opinion that part seems super dry and rhythmic instead of wavy as It should be... I do play this piece (still learning It tho, it's difficult). If you want to hear a surprisingly good version (IMO) you can try Jean-Luc Therrien's, very very good.
