Where We Camped: JETTY PARK- PORT CANAVERAL, FL- Camping and Cruise Ship Watching!

- Jetty Park is such an amazing campground- as close as you can get to sleeping with the cruise ships! There is also a day use area here, which is so much fun, and has an amazing beach! 
There’s so much to do here, from watching the cruise ships depart, to seeing a variety of wildlife and nature, to fishing from the long pier which jets out from the end of Port Canaveral, to exploring the beach and searching for shells, to watching submarines or space launches! You could easily camp here for a month and still have things to see and do. In this video, we will give you a little taste of what it’s like to camp at Jetty Park.

Every time I've left out of Canaveral, I say I want to camp there and so far I haven't yet. My favorite port!
It’s an awesome port, isn’t it? It’s so surreal that they put a campground so close. You’ll have to try it sometime! Or at least the park and beach. 🤗

What a gorgeous campground!! The wildlife, the fishing, the cruise ships, the bait and tackle shop, the little cafe - we have got to check this place out!

We are now discovering the Florida State Parks, and are totally in love. We went to see the manatees yesterday, so a video coming soon on that. We’re going to have to plan a lot of camping trips for the future!

My husband and I sailed out of Port Canaveral for the first time on Feb 4th and we saw that park! It looked like such a neat place to watch the ships!

Heading there on the 15th for my MSC Seashore cruise! Where in Florida do you travel from? I hope one day to move closer to Canaveral and avoid a 500+ mile drive!
Awesome, I hope you have a great cruise! We travel from Central Florida, about an hour northwest of Orlando. But it’s less than a 2 drive for us to get to Port Canaveral now, so we love that. Happy sailing! 🛳️😎
