Exactly! Pretty cool guy until anything happens that he can’t control then he’s ready to kill. Decent like 5 year old spoiled brat. With matching emotion stability and control. Lol that’s why I love him tho lol
This is probably my most favorite story you have ever told JR. saddest had to be last week when you talked about Bobby and his cancer. Two back to back episodes of epic story telling! Thanks JR
When Cornette came into Mid-South everyone thought the midnight express was gay, especially Cornette. It also didnt help his cause when Watts would refer to him as ",sissy" every week on TV.
Funny given Practically everyone from those days excepting the ones with multiple layers of body hair looks/acts gay now. And some of the promotion graphics don’t help...
Bruce's impression is actually an impression of JR's impression. And to go further down the rabbit hole, Cornette does an impression of Bruce's impression of JR's impression of Cornette.
The last time I saw Corny was in Savannah, Ga. Corny was sitting backstage and almost doubled over. I asked him if he was ok and he said he believes he has an ulcer. I offered to get him a Sprite and he declined. Corny told me he hated working for Jim Herd. The next week, Buddy Landel told me Corny and Stan resigned.
I like the story where JR sings to Jim Cornette. This is classic just like the airplane ride with Mad Dog Vachon with Jim Cornette and Greg Gagne doing a great impression of the Mad Dog.
I had to switch over to just listening to the podcast on apple. Jesus, thought I was the only one out there about to throw my phone because of the commercials ever 2 seconds.
I have social anxiety, but what Cornette has sounds more like General Anxiety Disorder. He's not anxious about social situations, but more basic things like comfort, flying and his property.
That's what jumped out at me - I'm pretty certain you can turn right on a red light anywhere here in Canada except on the Island of Montreal. Even though I've driven in every US state, I'm not 100% sure of the law there - I just do the same that I do here in Canada, unless there's a "no turn on red sign"
Love him or hate him Jim Cornette has earned respect in the wrestling business and genuinely doesn't give a shit what anybody thinks of him wish a lot of these younger wrestlers had the same love, regard and respect for the business he does instead of treating it like a joke and goofing off all the time
I’m not sure I’d want to partner with with Jim when traveling. Especially after listening to the stories about having to sneak him out back doors just to keep people from killing him.😂
conrad , i have a question that has as far as i know not yet been asked. the ring's canvas would get bloody during some matches , but the canvas would be clean for the next weeks bout. how and who would clean the bloody canvas? thank you sir.
JR and Jim Cornette are great to hear their stories. Cornette is always blasting about anything. He's hilarious. JR's impression was making me laugh hard.
Ffs if JR could only keep his thought pattern and finish a fucking sentence for one second, the Halifax story has been told by a few people now and would have been interesting to hear his side of events.
JR convincing the Border Agents that Corny was working them is fucking genius. Also his impression of Jim is the funniest shit I’ve heard in a long time.
The whole no turning on a red light is news to me, and I live in B.C. Only guess I've got is that the specific light they were at was a no turn on red. I don't remember any of those, but it doesn't mean there aren't any....
Cornette's voice does start to sound like Bruce Prichard when he is upset. He is a lot like the businessman from "The Langoliers.". One day one of Conrad's boys will tell a story about Cornette being confronted over "SCARING THE LITTLE GIRL!!!!"
Ive listened to atleast 10 of these wrestling podcast. I think jr n ole brother love are probably the best. Id put cornette at the bottom. And if it wasnt for konnan, that disco show would be behind cornette. I enjoyed stevie ray, the stone cold one is not the same, and jerichos is on another level. Cant stand constant complaining and arrogance n cornette is all about that and disco tends to be that way. I liked disco as a wrestler and disliked konnan, its ironic its the opposite now. I just appreciate the calm demeanor and relaxed chat, and jr, bruce p, stevie ray, they just are about that style.
Aww. Knowing people who have phobias, I sympathize with cornette and would’ve easily been the guy to just talk about non wrestling shit to calm him down
Am I the only one who pictures Conrad setting up a tennis racket and tossing tennis balls and filming it for the background video? Like what’s Conrad up to? Oh he’s filming putting mustard on hotdogs or throwing some hundreds on a fire.
JR's Cornette impression is hilarious
Sounds just like Prichard’s! Haha
That's prichards
Thats exactly what i thought....i dont see why they but give him that high pitched cartoon voice he sounds normal enough really
@@majorU2fan at first I thought they played a clip of Bruce saying it. Too funny
🤣🤣🤣🤣
6:32 for JR's awesome Cornette impression.
JR'S Cornette impression is on par with Bruce Prichards! LMFAO!!!
They say wrestling characters are that person’s real personality times ten, Corny’s gimmick was him divided by ten.
JR is one of the realest friends ever.
You’re friends with him?
@@TL2354 I actually am really close friends with the whole Ross family.
@@period8705
No you're not, actually.
@@cjr1881 do you know him jr or this guy personally?

I absolutely swear if JR was getting mugged, he’d be the voice of reason to keep his wallet

Tammy Forbes Or he’d do Cornette’s voice, haha
Tammy Forbes real life of the party Tammy! 😂

JR singing "Needle and the Damage Done" to an anxious Cornette is hilarious
I would love a once a year podcast with Jr, Conrad, Corny, and Brian
Id pay for that. No shots. Figure some shit out and talk in a way that for 1 day theirs no aew shots. No Omega etc.
Conrad can be absent.
I've never been to a wrestling convention but I'd pay a steep ticket for that
Conrad can get lost!
I've heard this story from Cornette. It's hilarious to hear JR's take. He still hates travelling.
"Don't need anyone touching my SHIT." LOL!
Cornette seems like a decent guy until you piss him off or you get him on a plane. Then the whole world is fair game 😂
Exactly! Pretty cool guy until anything happens that he can’t control then he’s ready to kill. Decent like 5 year old spoiled brat. With matching emotion stability and control. Lol that’s why I love him tho lol
@@beardnyethedrumguy I feel like a lot of that is him playing his character, but I'm 100% giving him the benefit of the doubt
@@jonzel472
Cornette is playing a gimmick to money while in his late career and not involved in wrestling.
The problem is everything pisses him off. He's a whiny bitch.
He behaves like a spoiled child who's never been told no.
This is probably my most favorite story you have ever told JR. saddest had to be last week when you talked about Bobby and his cancer. Two back to back episodes of epic story telling! Thanks JR

I wonder what the fans thought of The Fabulous Ones gimmick if they thought Midnight Express were gay.
JR's Cornette impression is one of the most funniest things I've heard. 😂😂😂
Anyone about die when Ross gets that high pitched “god damn you mother fuckers” going impersonating JC?
LOL at JR singing lullabies and telling stories to a benzo filled Cornette like he was a baby
Lmao JR's voice impression of Cornette.
Touch my shiiiiiitt
"He starts cutting promos at every ethnicity he could see." That is the nicest I have ever heard that stated.
"Im not getting on no God dam death tubes I had to take 2 xanex and i woke up still on the tarmac" - Jim Cornette

JR's Cornette impression is eerily similar to Prichard's.
Nice compliments for Vancouver! :-)
Yeah. Just not a town tho lol 🤣
JR sure is a pillar of patience
Thats gotta be Bruce dubbed in on the impressions.
JR and Bruce have the same hilarious impression of Corny 🤣

JR impersonating cornette is amazing 😂
When JR said about travelling to Halifax and went to Seattle I was so confused until he said Vancouver

JR is the friend we all need. Singing to a grown man on a plane to ease his friend. Plus he does a hilarious Cornette impression.
JR doing a Cornette impression is better than any PPV put out by the WWE in the last few years.
Cutting promos Every ethenic group he could see😆
I searched the comments just to see if someone said something about that 😅😅

That was quick thinking by JR telling them he was in character as he's cussing them out 😂
Great video JR is the best hey how about more ads it really helps the whole deal 👀
I wonder how many times that the "kayfabe villain" defense was used to get wrestlers out of trouble.
