  • Waking up at the trail head we were extremely motivated to get going. We had an hour ride to Mount Princeton Hot Springs where our resupply package was waiting. We restocked, reorganized, and got back on the trial, rolling our way over to Hwy 50. From their it was a 2.5hr slog up to the top of Fosses Creek, a wicked hike-a-bike (not quite as arduous as Miner's Creek but a close 2nd). We traversed across the top, which is also the Monarch Crest Trail, and dropped halfway down the hill to the start of Sergeant's Mesa.

Check the weather and trail conditions before going! October usually means snow starts at the higher elevations. Ride safe! ENJOY!

Nice video. When you are like ten pounds heavier bc food and supplies, etcétera, do you guys adjust the shock air pressure? Or that's something you don't need to do? 🤔👍🏽

Nah. We just ran it. Didn’t bring a shock pump. I don’t adjust the shock pressure when I use a hydration pack for big trail rides so it’s all the same.

I hope to do the whole trail someday. Looks amazing! I recently completed the Vapor Trail which includes some sections of the CT. Check out the video from our trip! th-cam.com/video/-jlEb6UeKmo/w-d-xo.html

Awesome, was looking forward to the next video. I'm doing the CT next August, you are providing great info/research for me. Do you filter the water ? and if so what are you using ?
