Hey guys im sorry I havent been the best youtuber but i try to stay up to date with comments but sometimes dealing with comments and many other things can get overwhelming, but I decided to redo aka update my last video with this one. I hope this video had at least one method to help one of you guys watching, happy gaming!!$

*UPDATE*
IF YOU USE A NEXT GEN CONSOLE THE NEWER CONTROLLERS ARE PATCHED. YOU MUST USE AN OLDER CONTROLLER PREVIOUS TO NEXT GEN CONSOLES ESPECIALLY XBOX. SO BEING SAID SERIES CONTROLLER WONT WORK

I plug in my Xbox controller with no mnk in the xim and I plug in the controller it power faults
What the power thing you have your xim plugged into
An Amazon power adapter, helps the Xim receive more power than the xbox alone provides.
My keyboard and mouse show up on the app just not my controller and I have tried all three of my controllers and my controller just vibrate when I plug my xim in

Hello, how are you? I have a problem with my xim apex. I connect it to my PC. I put the keyboard, mause and PS4 controller accessories on it, but it doesn't recognize it. Can someone help me find out what's happening?

There's an update only for series s and x and ps5 controller i updated it and now Its working.

Im on a xim4 and I've tried every thing in this video plus I've tried another controller and new cables and it still says its not connected to the xim

@@anthonygosselin7029 yo what u need is an older controller. If u have a newer controller or have updated ur older one to be a new one fhen it won't work
@@trimmxddeez5663 I found what the problem was. I had to factory reset my XIM. It now works perfectly.

i picked up a xim apex and was a first time user of any xim product and i successfully connected my Mouse and keyboard but then i attempted to connect my controller but once i connect it using a usb the xim stays red and the controller icon doesn’t appear in the app there is very little youtube videos on this topic so i found myself on the official FAQ and i’ve been troubleshooting for four and a half hours i’ve tried just about everything...

Does the controller flash the xbox button light or does it come directly on? And when on the xim app when you press something does it show up that your pressing it?

@@Ashsip yea i never update my controller the first time i did over a year ago is when the problems first occurred. I never knew it was “patched” though as of recent

Since you have to plug it in
The controller goes in the port with 3 dots , the keyboard goes with the 2 dots , and the mouse goes with the one dot . Also make sure you have a controller that is more modern that came from a ps slim or pro

Trying updating your xim on github, you also have to remember not every mouse and keyboard is compatible. check the slots you're putting them into the usb hub. And make sure the micro usb you plug into top of xbox controller is data transfer not an android charger because sometimes can affect the connectivity

@@stevenoncrack8188 nah i found the problem was my cord you need a micro usb that’s high quality along with not only meant for charging, also meant for connecting things

What i had to do: turn controller on, unplug the xim, plug it back in, plugged my mouse in again, moved my joystick, then it worked. Xbox
