agreed! what i find even more stunning is their evolutionary history, including eoandromaeda, the stenoctenophora, the beröe genus, and how their neurones came about somewhat before our own! they may not have been the first animals, but probably came to be before the placozoa, and likely developed their complex structures long before we would have. there's some with just two cell layers, and many with three. sorry if i'm on a tangent, i just really love these shimmering, yet dangerous beauties!
