Mirrors that point twords your bed are bad because mirrors are a portal to the spirit realm and having a mirror in view of your bed can open the door to demons which can possess you in your sleep. He says as he has his bed infront of two closet mirror doors😖

I'm 17, from Norway :D I got so hyped when you mentioned my country - like heyyy that's me, not that it's just me but still
I want to share my experience with warmth in Sims 4 - in such places as Windenburg and some other worlds it gets really cold in winter, so I had to put fireplaces in almost every room, so my sims wouldn't die of freezing. There was a house where I had 5 fireplaces and I had to leave them working for the whole winter. Yes, you have a thermostat controller or something, but it's really expensive to use.
I never go to community lots but I always play in Newcrest because I enjoy building. So I fill every lot up with a house and family, and then like legacies.
I baked a 'blondie' yesterday which is a good balance between cake and cookie and it was suuuuper easy to bake.
Edit: my builds always turn green if I don't focus about colour especially so I like the green beige vibes.
Edit 2: the Simsie save lags so bad on my potato computer I can't play it I cried. My Sims don't leave their houses either because my potato lags way too much or rather takes too long in the loading screens. I turned 23 in January and am female from South Africa.
Edit 3: lol I commented those things before you asked. I don't lie about my age but I'd been feeling 23 since I was 16 so I was relieved to finally be the correct age. I like your usual little sitting areas in the master bedrooms. Suicide trigger warning: I love the mirror across from the bed because my great grandfather shot himself sitting on the bed, looking in the mirror so I usually have that exact mirror across from my bed wherever we live.

Kayla I honestly don't know if you've been to your doctor about your anxiety or not, but I really love and adore you and your content and I realized that a lot of why I relate to you is your anxiety.
Mine got so bad that I had to get on medication, it was really bad. There was even a point in my life earlier last year where I couldn't afford my medication and it was hell, let me tell you.
I also know that not everyone wants to be on medication? It took me years to get on it because I also had a lot of anxiety about it? Lol
I guess what I'm trying to say is I adore you and your content and I hope you're having a good day and doing fine!

The mirror thing is from Feng Shui. Apparently it'll bounce energy around causing restlessness and amplify worries.

Maybe helpful inspiration here…? My parents’ bedroom has a big setup for cats since we foster them, a fireplace in the middle of the room with a TV on top, and 2 small walk-in closets that have kinda different vibes. Just some ideas for personality in master bedrooms if you want them
LOL I definitely feel you on gameplay and this is why I don't stream even though I would like to. I literally only have my Sims go to work, complete tasks for aspirations, and stay in the house. Community lots are nonexistent. But I have been forcing myself lately to respond to those text messages that came with City Living to get them out of the house and also schedule things on the calendar like Sunday family dinners, dates, and museum visits. Love this build btw!

I'm the only one who plays in Newcrest? I love building there and making new style neighborhoods. I often make "college towns", flipped industrial lofts, starter and weird "bad neighborhood" and all my modern builds.

I hope one day I could be able to get the Simsie Save on the console version of TS4. I constantly make new saves because I start things I never finish. Newcrest is such a pretty world but is empty. I still love and appreciate the gallery for this console, which makes it A LOT easier to place down lots and venues!

In Feng shui a mirror can cause you to have restless sleep/ sleeping difficulties because mirrors bounce energy.

The best place to put a mirror is across from your bed. If your trying to take a mirror selfie all you need to do is make your bed and you have a nice background. No fuss or mess.
For me it’s always difficult to make the roofs hahahah, sometimes I just don’t put any roof because I never see it anyway when I’m playing with the sims
Mirrors act as portals for spirits and if you have one facing another (or your bed) it supposedly brews bad energies.
I’m from the U.K. and turning 23 soon! the TH-cam sims community makes me feel so old and I’m only in my early 20s 😂

There’s a superstition about if you look at a mirror while you’re in bed, you’re gonna die. Like, if a portrait falls down the person in it will die. (There’s variations of when, like in 24 hours or in the next month)
I think when they wjoohoo it will reflect. Hahaha! That's funniy

The mirror thing, a lot of people believe that mirrors are the gateway or something to the "spiritual realm" so when you sleep in front of a mirror it's easier for them to get inside your body :)

The mirror thing is an anti-feng shui thing. You're not supposed to have the mirror reflecting back at you because it causes the energy in the room to go stagnant.

Kelly so the thing about mirrors across from you bed is apparently there’s like this different dimension with demons and spooky things in it and they can watch you in your sleep and they might crawl through the mirror and into your room.
