Super! thanks, I would go to seminars, and I know buss all the words. Good approach, be honest, to build a solid long team commitment with people who can provide.
Thanks Brett, this is a great channel indeed and lots of professional advices. As a gen-Z startup founder with little to no experience at all, I feel we need these videos as a guideline to do business. It's just amazing to see these videos of yours to be so concise, wasting no time at all and yet very informative! Keep this GOING!!!!
One topic that would be super helpful to hear your thoughts on is outreach - how should I go about finding the right incubator / VC? Should I reach out to investors directly? How do you structure an effective cold e-mail? Struggling with this process at the moment as a solo developer/founder. Sure, there are tons of big VCs I can apply for, but I don't want to spill the beans on my IP to the whole world. It's a tough balance.
Thanks Brett. Great advice as usual. What is a good format to use when a potential investor doesn’t want an in person pitch until seeing a copy of your pitch deck? Thanks
Thanks for your kind words and the excellent question. The answer is you should just send a pdf copy of your deck. A good deck should have enough information to stand on its own.

Good stuff, Brett. Thank you.
1. Tell a story
2. Minimize fluff
3.Be concise
4. Fancy is worse than plain
Thank you Brett. Keeping the content personal sounds like a good way to keep it engaging.
You're welcome, Paul. And, yes it is!

Thanks. I actually did a blog post on cold emails. You can read it here: www.brettjfox.com/can-you-get-investors-to-respond-to-cold-emails/
@@BrettFoxstartupceo That was so helpful, thank you for taking the time to respond and to find that link -- much appreciated!
