  • Gonna Need a Bigger Boat became the theme of our trip because we caught so many fish we needed a bigger boat to land them all. Captain Mike Adventures at Clover Pass Resort in Ketchikan Alaska.       If you are flying, it's much cheaper to check your frozen fish as luggage. I always rationalize flying first class, at least for the return trip, because I can check two 70-pound fish boxes for free.

      Alaska air only charges $25/50lb box for those with their credit card.

      @@danielheugly2685 That would be a nice benefit, but I can find no mention of it anywhere on the Alaska Airlines site or the Bank of America site. Where did you get this information? The AA site indicates that fish and game are treated as baggage. The credit card gives you one free bag, but the second bag is $40 and additional bags are $100. That is still way cheaper than FedEx.
