I know this is two years old but I have to say I do not understand any gay actor saying that there is a good argument on both sides of whether or not gay roles should only be played by gay actors. This is an utterly insane concept. The very second that Hollywood says OK from now on we will only hire gay actors to play gay roles then they also have every right in the world to turn around and say...OH BY THE WAY...from now on only straight actors are aloud to play straight roles. This would mean that all gay actors would loose about 90% of all the roles out there for actors to play. I think this should never even be a debate at all. All roles should be played by the actor that best suits the role. End of story. I am a fan of both of these actors, but shame on you Juan Pablo for saying that.
